Disney Dining phone system

I somehow got disconnected from my first call and had to call back. Been on hold for 41 minutes now. Very frustrating!
 
just booked all of ours online with free dining except hoop dee doo...keep asking for pre-payment...don't want to charge it since we are on the dining plan...started out online @ 6am which wasn't working for me so i waited until 7am to call had a wait time of over 60mins...in the mean time right around 8am online started working for me...so i got them all but the one...i never hung up my hold on the phone though...so now here i wait for someone to talk too...1 hr and 10 mins...:headache:
 
I don't have free dining and my resort booking is through DVC. :confused3


Just now finished my phone call - only 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish.:headache:

At least I got everything, including Chef Mickeys dinner, LeCellier lunch, and O'Hana dinner.:rolleyes:
 
It's not working for me with our trip 9/22-9/29 with DVC reservation. Called and got a 45 minute wait and no music.
 

I just finally was able to book my 180+10 online. I've been up since 5:30 and decided I just couldn't sit on hold for 45 minutes.
I went to my Disney reservation and the hit UPDATE RESERVATION.
It updated and then I was able to go in and attach the Dining Plan!!!
It was so nice not to get the message that they couldn't find my reservation number.
 
ok just booked hoop dee doo online...had to change it to a cat 3 and then it allowed me to book with dining plan...:cool1:
 
I, too got online this morning and it was a no go. Luckily, I called at 7:20 and requested BBB appointment first. That CM then asked me if I wanted to make dining reservations, also. So I did. My hold time was only 2 minutes! Guess I lucked out. :yay:

Oh and no hold music for me either. In fact, I hung up and called back because I thought it was so odd. But after a minute or so of dead air the second time, someone picked up. :confused:

Might be worth it to ask for BBB and then say, oops I meant dining. Can you still help? :3dglasses
 
I had the same trouble this morning as well. I was able to book almost all on line but had a problem when trying to make two reservations for the same day. No flames, lol, we are a party of 6 but when trying to make a reservation for 2 and then for 4 (two different locations) it would not allow me to do it. I had to call and waited for almost 1 hour on hold!! Thankfully I have three way calling so I was able to connect the call to my cell when I dropped the kids off at school. Good thing I did as they called as I was pulling back into the driveway :eek:

I also had NO hold music so I was really nervous. We were able to get everything we wanted :banana: except T-Rex which they said was not available on line this far in advance so I'll just try calling later directly to see if I can reserve.
 
After 1 hours and 10 minutes on hold without music I finally got through. Got all the reservations I wanted too! Yay!:banana::banana::banana:
 
So why does the phone system say your stay has to be with a check-in of 9/21. 9/22 check-in is 180 days out.

I called back and its now say more then 20 minutes wait time and I have music. I don't know why but the music makes me feel better.
