We are going to Chef Mickeys tomorrow for breakfast and there was only going to be 6 of us, but now our party has grown to 10. Is it possible (and "legal") for my husband to use his card for 6 people and me use my card for the remaining 4.

Thanks for any input, I do not want to be breaking any rules. If we can not get it for everyone, we will figure something out.

Thanks!
Christy

I have used my DDE card for parties of greater than 6. You do need to notify the manager prior to your reservation but we have never been denied using it with a larger party.

I see this all over, what IS the Disney Dining Expirience card? & How do you get one?? (I'm probably the last remaining person on earth who doesn't know...sorry!!) :D

I am assuming that you and your husband have the same account but two cards with different names right? So I'm not sure if that would work. That being said, I have used mine many times for a group over 6 and had no problems. It seems to be up the discretion of the restaurant. Enjoy!

when we went with my son's baseball team (I didn't want to use the card for the team ... just our family) my son was at another table than the rest of us (we were in the All Star Cafe and had about 7 tables total). They had me use my card for the table I was at (for me, my husband & 2 daughters)......then they used my husband's card for the table my son was at (which consisted of 5 more players on the team). That was the waiters idea. All I had wanted to do was get the discount for my son as well as the rest of my family. The waiter explained that we had to be at the same table to use one card....the only way to do it was to allow my son to use the second card...... when you count up the discount....if ended up being for 10 people.

I talked to the manager and he told me that we would only be able to use it for 6 people and I said that was fine. Then, when they brought us the bill, he came back out and said he went ahead and did it for everyone. We were going the split the total bill regardless, but this way everyone saved a little bit more.

Thanks for all the input!
