Disney Dining,DIS Meets, and WAIT-Why is that lady holding..... FINAL THOUGHTS 11/27

Your pics with the fairies turned out awesome and I love the pic of Minnie's house..it looks great.

Can't wait to hear more:goodvibes

Thanks! :)

I love Minnie's house---soooooo cute!

Thank you for the great update and the absolutely AMAZING photos!!! :worship:

Well, your are quite welcome. I'll tell my husband that you enjoyed his photos. :thumbsup2

They have across the body mail carrier bags now! I really, really want one of those! I'm hoping I can convince DH to buy it for me in October!

I love all your Wishes pictures! There fabulous! WOW!!!! They're making me get that excited feeling for October!

I saw those.....very cute! Good luck with convincing the DH! ;)

October's not that far away! Time to start getting REAL excited! :yay:

Very cute pictures at Cosmic Ray's!

I already told you on FB, but your Wishes pictures are spectacular!

Have you seen the new Princess DB purses? Those are tempting me even worse than the Mickey/Minnie ones.

Thanks, Julia! :)

Are the princess ones the ones that are in all those pretty colors, like pink, purple, yellow? If so, I did see them, but I didn't realize they were princess ones. I love the colors!

Great pics with the fairies!! That Tink is adorable-- I feel like 40 minutes isn't that bad!
Those Wishes pictures are really beautiful!! I can't believe you got such an amazing spot so close to the start of the fireworks!

Well, after reading some of your waits, I'm thinking that 40 minutes is not too bad! :)

Your shopping trip looked like fun! Did you guys buy anything?

Great Wishes pictures! Wow! :thumbsup2

You know, I don't think that we bought anything during that little shopping excursion! ----I guess it was window shopping for the most part that evening. :)

What a fantastic update! I need to set aside time one trip to go all by myself and just enjoy the shops of Main Street alone. I never get to browse with the boys on my heels complaining the whole time and Mom and I didn't make time to do it - guess I need another trip :thumbsup2
.

I think you do! ;)

Your Wishes pictures are beautiful. I just can't get the night picture taking down very well. I have read stuff everywhere and most of the tips say you really need a tripod, but I'm not going to carry a tripod around :lmao:. The fairy pix are great too :thumbsup2.

Me either, Dana! I can just see us lugging around a big tripod on
Winnie-the-Pooh's adventures, or holding it in our laps while we watch Mickey's Philharmagic! :rotfl:

Beautiful Wishes photos!!! What settings do you use on your Canon XSI? We have the same camera and I always like to compare fireworks settings.

Your fireworks pics turned out really good! I'm curious what settings you used too.

Well, when I first asked Kevin about what settings he used, he just looked at me like I had spoken in Greek! BUT, then the little camera-smarty that he is, he got the camera and started messing around with it. The Disney pics are actually still on our card, we haven't ever dumped it. So he went back and found the firework shots, and discovered that the smart camera can tell you what mode you shot in , and all the info you could want for any particular shot! (Don't laugh, we just got this camera in Feb., so we still don't know everything it can do!)

So, ....................The firework shots were shot in program mode---The ISO was 1600; 1/15 shutter speed @ 4.5 aperture .

You hit that nail right on the head. You know who would have to carry it too :rolleyes1. Dale can't even keep up with a camera bag :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:.

Michelle, your Wishes pictures are amazing! :goodvibes It looks like you had a fun afternoon! I love all of the shopping pics - I definitely want to take the time to just kind of browse through the MK shops on the disneymoon. It's so fun looking at all of those (expensive!) souvies.

:lmao: It is a smart camera, isn't it???

I'm impressed at how clear your pictures are for 1/15 shutter speed! Steady hands! Or did you have a tripod?

We always up the ISO to 1600 and open the aperture and let the camera determine the time, it seems to work well. I might experiment with a slightly lower ISO this trip though too.

Brooklynn turned four on Monday. Bella will be seventeen months old on September 5th.

These were my favorite!

How cute are these?! I wonder what they use for the ears?? :confused3

Your fireworks pictures are beautiful!

Hey Michelle! I am sure you are just as busy as I have been. Everything at school and here at home are calm, so I am trying to spend some time catching on all my friends' TRs. I can't wait to get started reading again this weekend.

Catching up today on the Dis. I laughed at your comment about teacher Dis friends understanding because I was just thinking the same thing about my neglecting my TR. We get it!

Gotta love some main street wanderings! I adore those vases that resemble mickey's pants :lovestruc

Your fireworks pictures are awesome. I especially love how the profile of the partners statue can be seen in them! :thumbsup2

Hi Michelle! Catching up tonight...

Great updates from MK!! Love the little statues, I will have to be on the lookout for them when we go here soon. :thumbsup2

TFS all the great pictures, I enjoyed the ones from the show. I hope to catch it, but it is not a high priority. It will have to be based on how DD is doing. :goodvibes

The Fairies are high up on our list too!! The borders are cute. The Wishes photos turned out really well. I am not bringing a tripod either--I will hope for the best!! I am not looking to enter any contests or sell a print, just some good pictures for our scrapbook and to remember it by!

Dale can't even keep up with a camera bag :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:.

I seem to recall that...........................:lmao::lmao:

Michelle, your Wishes pictures are amazing!

Thanks so much Courtney! :)

.

No tripod....I guess it was just steady hands. :thumbsup2

Brooklynn turned four on Monday. Bella will be seventeen months old on September 5th.

I've been MIA for so long, I missed Brooklynn's birthday, and now it is almost Bella's 17 month old day. They are such cute, happy girls. :goodvibes

How cute are these?! I wonder what they use for the ears?? :confused3

I didn't buy one, so I'm not sure how they make the ears. :confused3

Hey Michelle! I am sure you are just as busy as I have been. .

I'm CRAZY! I keep thinking things will calm down, but right now I don't see when! I feel so badly that I've dropped the ball on this TR, not to mention staying caught up with all of your TRs.

I laughed at your comment about teacher Dis friends understanding because I was just thinking the same thing about my neglecting my TR. We get it!

I'm so glad you understand, Katie! :) I'm afraid everyone here will think I've fallen off the face of the Earth.

The Wishes photos turned out really well. I am not bringing a tripod either--I will hope for the best!! I am not looking to enter any contests or sell a print, just some good pictures for our scrapbook and to remember it by!

I'm sure your pictures will be beautiful, Stephanie! AND, like you said, they are for you and your family to enjoy for years to come. :goodvibes

I am so sorry that I have been neglecting my trip report. It just seems as if I have not had a moment to myself in weeks. I have four preps here at school, and three of those classes I've never taught before, so I actually spend my planning period planning! Imagine that!

My youngest daughter is involved in a show choir production at school, and they have been practicing nearly every day since before school started. Since she can't drive, I'm left to run back after her at pick up time. I also am helping with the costume sewing for one of the numbers, so every free moment I have at home is spent sewing. Lately, I've been having nightmares about a giant sewing machine chasing me !!:rotfl:

So, hopefully, you all haven't given up on my trip report. I am really going to try to do better and work on it more in the next week or two.

Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! :)
ROLL TIDE !

Hey there stranger! Good to see that you indeed, have not fallen off the face of the earth :thumbsup2

Check in when you can - we miss you around here. :goodvibes

And, just because you put that reminder in there that college football season has arrived..........BOOMER SOONER!!!

We haven't given up...we are here for the long run. When you get it it, you get to it. Have a great Labor Day Weekend.

Hi, Michelle! It's good to hear from you! I think this is the first planning period I have actually DISed during since school started!!!

Enjoy your weekend and the start of college football. :goodvibes

Thanks for checking in. Sounds like the year is off to a busy start! :goodvibes

I was actually behind in your updates so I got to enjoy your afternoon of shopping in the MK, fairy visit and Wishes! I agree with the rest of the gang, you got some great shots! I am in the market for a new camera (b/c clearly the quality of my photos is due to the camera not the operator... :rolleyes1) so I will check out this one.

Hope you have a great holiday weekend!

Looking forward to the rest of your report, but until then ROLL TIDE ROLL. :cheer2:

Oh, I know how you feel, Michelle! I've been super busy since school started as well. My plans have been to DIS at night but I have to wake up at 5:30 and I'm just done before 10.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Michelle!! That is ok, I have been off of DIS for a while now doing the same thing---teaching! Actually, I have been learning to sew, too! I know what you mean about the giant sewing machine chasing you :lmao:

Can't wait to hear about your trip...OH and TIGER BAIT! GO LSU!!! ;)
