I assume that we will have one set of keys -- for our room, our tickets and the dining plan right?

It's still possible I'm sure to also charge things -- like meals to your room right -- just need to make sure the cast member knows you want to pay cash and not use a credit right?

I'm thinking breakfast will be a cash purchase for us and we usually just charge to our room. Anyone have any problems with credits being used when they didn't want them to?

(Last minute thoughts as we're less than 23 hours away from departure :cool1:  :cool1: )

No problems at all...just tell them before they swipe it that you are paying with your room charge not with your dining credits. If they end up charging you a credit for it, then the hotel concierge can fix it for you very easily.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should ask you how you want to pay, if they don't make sure to tell them.

If you notice any mistakes after the fact just call the front desk and they can fix it.

Have a Magical vacation!

As others wrote, just be sure to tell the server beforehand. However, we did a character breakfast and wanted to pay for it rather than use credits. DH was concerned that there would be a mix up and he was just more comfortable paying cash than taking any risk that the credits we planned to use on a more expensive meal would be charged. I'm sure it could have been fixed though had that happened.

Great -- that's what I thought.

10 hours and 15 mins and we're heading to the airport. It's 11:45pm and we can't get anyone to go to sleep.

We used my son's card to "pay" with credits. He is 14 and didn't have charging privliges - so there was no way that a mixup could occur. But most servers did ask anyways so I don't think it would be a problem. At the table service restaurants, some (Coral Reef, Le Cellier, and Planet Hollywood) actually asked to see cards ahead of time. They checked to be sure that the Adults & Children listed on cards matched what was at table. We were 3 seperate parties -all considered adults so they asked for one card from each party. They didn't allow sharing with those not on plan, and also wanted to be sure that everyone was using only adult credits for adults.
