Disney Destinations emails and pins

Hi Everyone

How do I get Disney Destination emails? (are they the same as the Disney Insider emails?) I have signed up for the DVD numerous times and have never received one (via the Australian/New Zealand disney site) I have booked a trip, and have tried to make maps, but have to print these myself as they don't ship to NZ.

I keep reading about people getting the emails and some getting pins ..... I must be doing something wrong.

Any advice appreciated.

Make sure you make and save dates that you'd like to go on the website. Also give them a call to make sure you're in their system!

I booked our trip on the WDW website - does that count? Sorry if I sound clueless - I'm a beginner to WDW

Ohhh I understand now. People were saying that it seemed they got less pins if they were booked (or none at all!) and it makes sense since Disney wants to book new people, not give people who paid full price a discount. Unfortunately at a certain point all you can do is wait and hope something for the general public comes out or that you get a pin magically.
