I'm around every now and again- mostly reading and trying to get through the dark depressing days in Portland Oregon. I hate rain and gray! Snow is so much better. At least after the snow is done, the sun comes out and it makes everything brighter. Thansk for thinking about me- maybe I'll come and gather some sunshine from my old friends!

I can't keep up! Does anyone know why I don't get e-mails about this board any more? At least with those it took me to where I'd left off, now I have to try to guess (and always get it wrong )

I get e-mails for most other threads

Paul recently shared a tip for that. Go to the Creative Designs forum, you will see the thread listed. To the left of the thread name there is a little blue box with a check mark in it. Click on that and it will bring you to the correct page. Gotta love Paul.

I think we will be staying at the Ritz - compliments of DH's corporate rate for the conference -

I don't think many details have been ironed out yet!!

Marti and Tmlfrank(definte maybe) - have told me they are going in pms - and of course tammi and Elin - we need to figure out when everyone can get there

Important update...and yes, I quoted myself!

I kindly suggested that I start working on the Disney tree. He got the box out, and I have put six ornaments back in their boxes.

I also get to refresh my screen after every six I put away from now on.

Kevin just heard me typing and he rolled his eyes at me. Like this:

Yes! I volunteered to coordinate that. If you all let me know if you are planning to attend, I can figure out how many rooms we need and get some reserved. Hopefully we will have enough to get some sort of a group discount.

Does anyone have any tips on a good non Disney cruise line that has a casino and lots for kids to do? We are thinking of doing a Christmas Cruise next year (with few days in Disney) but DCL doesn't meet everyone in our family's needs. Would love to here details.

It would be better for Steffy and I to come Saturday and stay the night. Just a little too far to come just for the day. Looking forward to it.

I would drive down and park at a metro station - it is 3.25 for the day to park at the one in silver spring - the station is called wheaton

then you could just take the metro into the heart of the city - it would take you everywhere you want to go

PERFECT! Thanks so much. I knew you could get a Metrorail pass for like $6.50/day (unlimited), but I didn't know where to start
