Just wondering - people keep talking about Marti and Paul - are they taking a vacation from us or leaving us forever?

Does anyone have any tips on a good non Disney cruise line that has a casino and lots for kids to do? We are thinking of doing a Christmas Cruise next year (with few days in Disney) but DCL doesn't meet everyone in our family's needs. Would love to here details.

We have been on 3 Carnival cruises and 3 Princess cruises, we went on Carnival this last spring break and had a great time, we were on the Glory out of PC but decided that if we weren't doing DCL, Princess will be our line of choice, we have a B2B booked on Princess for September, we really enjoyed our 3 Carnival but they are not as nice as Princess with a more rowdy crowd.
The shows on Carnival and Princess were both great, both have casino and lots of things going on.

Princess only do 7 night as there shortest and leave from FL.

We were going to try RCCL but my sister went on that with her kids and DH and they thought the kids would skate and rock climb but the lines were always so long they never got to do it all week. That was her first cruise and she never got hooked so we decided to stick to what we know but we have heard good about them.

This is just our opinion but remember ' a bad day at sea is better than a good day at work'.

Is there a letter-writing (or PMing) campaign to bring Marti and Hunka back to our board? I have no idea what happened while I was offline, but I hate that the end result seems to have been their leaving us.

I am pretty sarcastic in real life, so thanks for the new years' resolution suggestion to keep the sarcasm out of our posts. I will try my best to be mindful. If I've offended anyone in the past, I truly am sorry.

I have been on both Norwegian and Carnival. Norwegian was great, however it's been about 15 yrs., since and I don't know what they are like now. I will NEVER do another Carnival cruise again. Inexpensive, yes, but it shows. They have a GREAT kids club however, but because of that there are a LOT of kids. I found the older ones to be running around all over the place, unsupervised. To each his own, but I didn't like Carnival.

My parents have done Royal Caribbean a few times, and love that line. Quite a few of my friends have too. If we were to do another, I think we would do Royal.

If it is a new camera it sounds like it takes a while to write between photos. I bought one that was like that and returned it and bought one that took photos much quicker. I don't know the proper terminology for it.

it is a newer camera--october ..but i have used it a bunch of times and never had this problem...
I guess its not really a problem...i can still use it, i just thought it was different..thanks!!

Royal caribbean!!! Ive cruise 2 times with them and am going again on Sunday...I dont have experience with the kids clubs, but i saw a ton of kids going in and out all the time and they seemed to be having fun..
definitely has a casino--i was in there a few times1
any other specific questions?
