Denise - Just wanted to say that your night pictures turned out great. I have problems getting good night shots w/ my camera. What was your secret?

Ok, everyone. Can I have some pixie dust please? Just talked to DH, who just picked up the kids and got home. We have NO HEAT!. I have no idea how long it has been out. He checked fuses and such, and just got out the manual for our furnace. Luckily, we have dual heat...electric upstairs, which is working, but the main floor is gas, which is not working. We do have a gas fire place on that level which does work. Makes no sense to me. So at least we have some warmth. I just hope that he can fix it and we don't have to have an emergency call-out for the gas man. I'm sure their price will be astronomical. Anyway, I am heading home now and hopefully I will have good news when I get there. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Hi, all! I don't have time to completely catch up right now.

Deb--I hope that your dad is doing better!

I just completed the design for my Christmas cards (yeah, I'm a little behind schedule...wish I could say that's a rare occurrence ). The photos are from cutting and decorating the Christmas tree.

I have some red vellum to print out the greeting for the inside of the card, but I don't have any ideas yet. I'll get the photos back tomorrow, and I hope to start assembling/addressing them tonight and just add the photos tomorrow.

Trip was FABULOUS, but I am glad to be home.

My DD called me yesterday afternoon to tell me that it had been snowing all day and that she was walking in it to class. In other words..... she was rubbing it in! I can't believe you guys got that much snow- WOW! If you are sick of the snow- why don't you come up here and stay with me.... that is an invite for anyone that is sick and tir3ed of the snow! It just doesn't snow here very often. I'd love the company... and my house is almost a Christmas winter wonderland!

It's not really that I miss oreos; I miss the idea of going to the bag and eating as many as I want. If you're day is coming soon, please let me know so that I can support you as much as you have supported me. Have you given any more thought to coming here and having it done? You'd be close to your kids, and I could meet you, and help you and get you through the classes, etc.

As for coming to your house...I might just take you up on that. Where in Oregon do you live? I have family in Beaverton.

I just found out that DH has to go on a business trip to Vermont on the 23 and 24 of this month. I told him he better be back by Christmas Eve (evening) or I'd be really upset. I just can't stand the thought of him missing our big family plans. Please send PD that the powers that be (Delta airlines) won't strike as they are threatening on Christmas Eve so he can come home.
