It is 3 degrees here right now :cold: With more snow forecasted for tonight & tommorrow. My water pipes in the kitchen froze up last night, oh the joys of winter  I have today & tommorrow off from work & I need to get some bear freshners made, but I am so cold I don't want to get off the couch :rotfl: Plus my workshop is in the basement & it is really :cold: down there. It is warmer in Switzerland where dh is right now, no fair!

Tinknme - where are you here in the great LOL? It is currently 13 here in Spfld, but the feels like is 3 degrees. We are also forecasted for snow tonight and tomorrow. I really wish I had a garage.

I had mine Dec. of last year & I do not miss the monthlys either. Although I do not care for the weight that I gained :guilty:

Fellow DDAers,

I have 3 individual discount cards for OfficeMax that I am willing to mail to anyone who wants 1 - ONLY $15 OFF $75 LEFT

1) $15 off $75 purchase EXPIRES 12/17/05
2) $10 off $20 purchase Expires 1/7/6 GONE
3) $10 off $20 purchase Expires 1/7/6 GONE

I will be here at work for another 1.5 hours, and can mail on my way home, or will mail tomorrow if I don't get any takers today.

We don't use OfficeMax, but they continue to send me discount cards every month. Hopefully someone needs some printing supplies and this could help.

Just pm me with a mailing address.

That is the COOLEST Christmas store! We went to Frankenmuth many years ago in December and shopped at Bronner's. They had the BEST Stollen there.... yum yum yum yum yum

I loved the time my sister took me to Frankenmuth :goodvibes

That was the best ever. That big clock in the center of town is the best ever

Would all you DDA'ers please stop wishing for snow? We got dumped on yesterday and ended up with 12 inches. It's pretty pathetic watching your 6 year old trying to break a trail to the house from the bus stop. Luckily, it's stopped snowing and the sun is shining today, but it is extremely cold here.

If you all want the snow, please come and get it! I'm done for the winter!

Hi, all! I don't have time to completely catch up right now.

Deb--I hope that your dad is doing better!

I just completed the design for my Christmas cards (yeah, I'm a little behind schedule...wish I could say that's a rare occurrence :rotfl: ). The photos are from cutting and decorating the Christmas tree.

Front:

Inside (Half--one photo--in each card):

Also for decoration inside (one in each card):

I have some red vellum to print out the greeting for the inside of the card, but I don't have any ideas yet. I'll get the photos back tomorrow, and I hope to start assembling/addressing them tonight and just add the photos tomorrow.

yeah i wish we had snow. then at least we would have a reason to go outside. my dd does not like staying inside all day.
I really feel sorry for my dh today though he works at home depot and he works the lot. you know coralling carts, loading orders in customers cars etc. he just left to go to work he has to work from 1pm to close which is 10pm but then he has to do clean up of the parking lot so its around 11pm before he leaves.

Jennifer, I am in Dallas, and it is COLD here, with the schizophrenic precipitation - it can't make up its mind whether it wants to be snow, sleet, freezing rain, etc.

Of course, people are freaking out here, schools are closing, etc., etc. The media totally blows things out of proportion. Although, I'm not opposed if I get to leave work early today... :rolleyes1

Tonight would be the night, though, that DH and I have tickets to see Jim Brickman's concert, and it's of course in the part of the Metroplex that seems to legitimately be having problems with their roads! And they're not canceling, or giving refunds! We're supposed to be on the 2nd row...

those are cute. I have not mailed mine yet either. But my reason is we did pics with dd and nephew to send to the aunts and uncles. well the pics came back had did family pic of us, and brother and son and then all of us. well the package was of the 2 kids at walmart. the pictures of the kids did not turn out it was just one blurry blob. I am so mad now have to wait till sun to redo pics.

I love your cards!! How creative!!! I haven't even thought about Christmas cards this year... :rolleyes1 We have our tree up, and DH put lights on the outside for the first time - Yea!!! (It helps that DS is totally infatuated with Christmas lights!!!) ;) Thanks for the reminder that I need to get on the cards!!!

I would love to ship some of this white stuff your way, but I think the post office frowns on packages that leak.

I actually love it when it snows. I love the look of the white snow sparkling in the sun, but, by the next day, it's all gray and mushy as the snowplows and sanders get to it. Then it's just plain yucky!

We LOVED the Lion King!!! We saw it in Tampa when I was pregnant - DS loved all the music!!!! The only bad part was that he was moving and kicking so much that I had to go find the ladies' room a couple times! He always knew right where to kick!!! :rotfl: We also saw Phantom in Tampa - too awesome!!!! :goodvibes

bear - I hope your pictures turn out this time!!! I know how frustrating that is!!! :flower:

Well, I think I am talking to myself, so I'll go check on the laundry. DS is down for naptime (still chatting away, though...) :teeth:

Thanks for thinking of me anyway!!! :teeth: I love snow!!! My parents have a teeny tiny unfinished cabin up in the NC mountains where we would go for the holidays. One Christmas they had 18 inches of snow - I learned how to make a snowman and go sledding - too much fun!!! Now that I'm older and wiser :rotfl2: I would probably hate it after 5 minutes!!! :cold:

I loved Lion King! I saw it in Toronto in 2000, and again this past Easter when it came to Buffalo. Truly outstanding!
