DH wanted to find out when we had our second baby. I told him if he wanted to know, go ahead, but if he let it slip to me I would kill him. He opted not to find out.

Just wanted to let you all know - I scheduled an audition for Julia in the American Girl Fashion Show - my big concern is that they want girls who wear a 6X and Julia wears a 5/6 - they said to audition anyway b/c you never know how the AG sizes run

Of course if she is chosen, b/c it is a fundraiser for a foundtion - there is a $120 fee to model but it does include raffle tickets, a party, her ticket for the show (she gets to watch the first part), a photoshoot and a gift -

and of course - then they want you to sell raffle tickets for the show! But it is not a requirement -

so we will see what happens!!

Nice. I wish they had done this for ours. Especially the photo shoot and party. How nice for the girls. aw:

OK - just finished reading 45 pages.

Try to have a life outside of the DIS and look at all the drama that happens.

Tink2020 - so glad that you got your computer fixed and your tests are all done. Nothing felt better than that at the end of the semester.

Kate - so nice of you to try and help.

My3princes - OMG - prayers are with your dad, his Drs. and your family. Be strong and don't take any crap from the hospital, Drs., etc. Right now your dad needs a very strong advocate, and it looks like you are the person for the job.

Brendita - Sounds like you are making plans to move forward. I hope to be able to join in your pool party this summer. (P.S. love your little tree)

Amy, Kevin and Alyssa - so thrilled for you.

Marti - that will teach you to ever let Paul have first choice in anything. I did let DH pick middle name for DD (I gave him 2 names to choose from - lol), but he understood that no matter how often I asked his opinion, I was going to name them what I wanted

Clare - thanks for sharing

Glynis - glad to know you are doing so well - maybe it was a great idea to have surgery right before the holidays. If you can live through it this year, then you know you will be successful in coming years and coming challenges

I guess I won't let this slide for 3 days ever again (except when I am at WDW)

I'm with you Kate. Although I am a compulsive planner, this was one thing I did not need to know. People would say "how can you get ready for it if you don't know what it is?" Well, easy. Everything does not HAVE to be pink or blue.

We didn't find out the first time, after DS was born, I had to ask Dr. if it was a girl or boy, they don't just announce it any more.

We did find out with DD (after multiple sonograms, amnio, perinatologist, etc.), but I really preferred it when we didn't know.

I have dial up connection and need to keep my line clear. There is no change in my Dad's condition and after 26 hrs in the hospital they still claim the neck xrays haven't been read. Apparently all the Neuro Docs are in surgery so he has to wait until they get out to get any answers. When he was allowed to stand today he got very dizzy and had to sit. Every time he changes position he has a minute or two where everything just spins. We want answers!! I'm going back in a couple of hours. I spent 2 there this morning with 2 three year olds. They were very good though. My 10 year old has made himself sick worrying so I need to get him back up there to see his Papa. I will talk to a Doctor before I leave tonight or there will be some heads rolling. I think this is unacceptable.

Oh my goodness Deb. I sure wish there was something else I could do except pray for you and your family.

When our DD was about maybe 4 or 5 years old, she finally learned how to sing Jingle Bells. One day while going over to the in-laws, we stopped by the Dr's office first. The trip over is about a 45 min drive and she sang the song the whole way over . When we stopped, I got out of the car first and told husband to wait Don't know what he said to get her to stop singing

I didn't see anybody mention that Dec. 6th was Walt Disney's birthday.He would have been 104.I found this picture of him...I just love it.

Actually Walt Disney was born on December 5th, 1901.

I wanted to start making & printing the scrap book pages but can't find the pics that were posted! Anyone have one they can share with me?

Also, when you use the 6x6 pages, are you putting them into sheet protectors? And if so, WHERE do you find them? Michael's sells them but with the plain white paper -- and of course they're all out this week since they're on sale.

Lisa - they are 6x6- I actually bought 12x12 at Michaels - printed on them as 6x12 and then cut in half -

I got the clear protectors from Michaels that you are talking about - you could also make them 4x6 and then put them in a normal photo alum with your pictures

the font I used is from dafont.com and is called walt disney script
