Video. It's the ONLY time they are quiet. They are either loud and horsing around with each other or are loud and fighting with eachother. Once in a while I get a happy middle. Not often though.

No kidding, they can be downright mean over there, and if you aren't one of "theirs" they will pretty much ignore you.

I jsut went to check -it is on this saturday so I set Tivo to tape it!

I do have Muppets Wizard of Oz so I just turned that on - it is so hard to find a movie they BOTH like - Julia is totally into Lizzie McGurie, Get a Clue - things she thinks aren't for babies ("Mommy - did you forget I was 4 now?") and of course Nick likes anything with Buzz and pirates - he still like House of Mouse and sometimes they will agree on that

Thanks!! I agree you are very friendly!!! I tend to like the people on the CB - you just have to learn who the problems are and avoid them - it isn't too hard to do!!

Speaking of - Heidi - do you think it is time for another pin exchange? That was so much fun and so easy to organize!!!

Julia and Nick are really at that I adore you phase still - they both think the sun rises and sets around the other - it is rare when they fight but if they do - it is over me or the tv

Nick fell asleep so Julia is watching Felicity now (the American Girl movie not the TV show - I am not that desperate to keep her occupied!!!)

Of ocurse now I will probably have to buy her the doll!! Although she is getting the one who looks like her!

remember when I said my in-laws were willing to watch my kids so DH and I could go away for a weekend? No where is grabbing our attention and anywhere we really would want to go is too cold or too expensive - so I think we are going to let my in-laws watch the kids and spend the weekend here in town doing grown up things!

Before J&N we used to play pool, go out to nice dinners, movies - you know grown up things and we thought it might just be fun to do the things we never get to do here

what do you all think?

How about a local bed and breakfast? I love time alone with my DH, but if I'm at home, I'm looking at the dust and the laundry, etc. It would be nice for someone else to make my bed.

Or maybe a fantasy suites hotel? You could spend the weekend in the 2001 Space Odyssey or Jungle Room suite. Most have very large jacuzzi tubs and some even have mirrore ceilings. (Not that I have any first hand knowledge .)
