to annoy each other or to annoy you?

Julia and Nick are really at that I adore you phase still - they both think the sun rises and sets around the other - it is rare when they fight but if they do - it is over me or the tv

Mine are almost 5 years apart and never really had an "I Adore You" stage. They usually are fighting like cats and dogs, and I swear sometimes it is only for my benefit. They do tend to fight over my attention come homework time.

Barbie isn't pregnant :rotfl:

It is her friend Midge

she is part of the Happy Family set - you can get her DH, I think an older brother or sister for the baby and the grandparents!!

my target always has a normal Barbie for about $4 - also have you seen the WDW barbie or the Pooh Barbie? When do you need it - I am heading to Meijer and will pop one in the mail tomorrow if you want

I'm not sure, she was in the package by herself.

Of course if Barbie was packaged with Ken then she could....maybe....get pregnant. If Kevin and Amy are lucky and end up expecting a new little one then we can nickname them Ken and Barbie. :rotfl:

Lynn

Amy is going to get me for that previous post......I just know it!!!! I think I will hide for awhile :cool1:

Oops. Oh well. I just noticed it in passing and only saw the big belly. I am looking for one for Christmas. I have checked our Kmart and Toys r Us. Went to Kohl's today too, because they were having 50% off all barbie stuff. Bought a case and an outfit pack, but no doll. Still have Walmart and Target to check. Thanks for the offer, but you don't need to trouble yourself for me. I'm sure I will find something. I do appreciate it though.:flower:

Barbie and Ken broke up but that didn't seem to go over very well as the dolls don't seem to reflect it!!!!
That's right. I notice she did not gain 10 pounds from moping and eating ice cream!:rotfl:

Video. It's the ONLY time they are quiet. They are either loud and horsing around with each other or are loud and fighting with eachother. Once in a while I get a happy middle. Not often though.

The day after Thanksgiving I dug out my box of Christmas movies and books. That usually keeps my kids happy for days. Especially since our rule is that you can only watch a movie once a day.

I have every Christmas movie made, I think. Except Polar Express. DS is getting that in his stocking. I am a child of the 70's so I really enjoy watching the old claymation ones; my favorite is "The Year Without a Santa Claus."

Oh, I also told my kids that as a parent I have a direct line to Santa Claus, so they better behave or I'll call him and cancel their Christmas. That usually gets me good behavior for about an hour or so.

Do you have me on IGNORE?

I told you guys it is not barbie who is pregnant - it is her friend Midge -

Barbie and Ken broke up but that didn't seem to go over very well as the dolls don't seem to reflect it!!!!

My comment on the break-up was not correlated to Midge's pregnancy, silly. I was letting Lynn know that she was nicknaming Kevin and me the names of a broken-up couple!!! :teeth:

One of my students (yes, I taught high school  ) was obsessed with the pregnant Midge doll, and she played with it in creative writing all the time. I had to take Midge away several times. Her belly comes off and the baby comes right out. I guess that's Mattel's version of a c-section. Weird!!! :rotfl:

I have a little elf that sits on my kitchen light - he doesn't help b/c he scares the crap out of Julia and everytime I point him out she sits in my lap scared!!

We just watched Polar Express on Thanksgiving. Hadn't seen it yet. What a great movie! The kids are getting it for Christmas too.

I also like your philosphy on behavior. I am going to have to use that one.
