Tammi - I'm with you!!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

A few nervous breakdowns in the past week or so made me realize how FANTASTIC this vacation is going to be!

I need to ask for some pixie dust, too. Turns out my flight to kansas city (from Indy) tomorrow is moved up to 5:08. Meanwhile, I am in Oxford, OH and am not really supposed to leave this thing I have to do for class until 3 something... which would put me at the airport at 5:10. Not gonna' work..

Gotta pack and figure this out soon!

Thanks for the PD for the tests last week. I did fine, but today's was another story...... :guilty:

I'm not sure I'll have internet (unless I pick up a wireless signal somewhere on the laptop, which is possible) so I might not be on until Saturday. That is if I make my flight. Don't miss me too much!

Jennifer - I THINK that if the airline moves your flight time - you have to right to be put on another flight free of any charges - one DISer said the airline called ehr adn said they moved her flight up 8 minutes - problem was she thought her flight was at 7 am and she had booked 7 pm = she was very sad about it and everyone told her to call and see if they could switch her to another flight since her flight time had been changed and they put her entire family (5 people) on the am flight no charge

That was my drive by posting - going back to bed - but I did just keep some toast doen - well I have for 10 minutes so far!

ACK!! HELP!! Ok, if anyone has some spare pixie dust could you please send it my way?? Every year after Thanksgiving I go into 'panic mode', only this year it is worse because I leave for Disney in 19 days. These weeks before Christmas are always so hectic. Friday is Nicholas' 6th bday, his party is Saturday. I am not prepared yet at all. I think I will need to take a sick day from work to get everything done for it. Then I have to do Christmas shopping, decorate the house, and get ready for our trip. Every time I think I have decided what shirts I am going to make, I rethink my decisions. Then I have to figure out what color of shirts to put them on. Then I have to keep checking the forecast to see if we need short sleeves or long. Then I have to make the shirts. Plus, I work, which takes even a bigger chunk out of my time. I am so anal about everything!! It gives me a headache just thinking about everything. I am really starting to stress about all of this. Ok, deep breaths now. Sorry, I just needed to vent a bit. How do/did you all get through this? Any suggestions?

:grouphug: I did the same thing with the shirts, relax you are in good company :goodvibes

Kate and Legalslave --

Thanks so much! I thought about calling the airline, but I need to be in KC tomorrow night and it's the last flight out with that airline until 7:55. I guess worst case scenario I take that one, but I really can't afford to move it if theres any way I can get there. I feel like I have to at least try.
I'm going to most likely just tell my group I have to leave early. I have done all the organizing up to this point (go figure  ) and "my part" is over at the beginning. Then my mom will just have to speed like this guy :moped: (but in a car that theoretically goes faster).

Hey! Any Indianapolis folks? I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one and that you're on the smae time currently as EST, but please tell me I'm not and that you all are behind us an hour right now?! Pleeeease? :listen:

I'm not in Indianapolis, but Indianapolis is on EST, the same as Ohio.

I'm very entertained that you shared with all the DDAs that I never went to the bathroom. :teeth:

And I was LOL when I read how many of you thought Kate was buying that Christmas Belle costume for herself! :rotfl:

We're home. Had a good trip overall, except for the fact it took us over 6 1/2 hours to get there (it's usually a 3 1/2 hour trip!). We did no shopping at all, but we did eat a lot! My mom makes the best homemade cinnamon rolls, and she sent us home with a whole bag if any of you Cincinnatians want to swing by and try one.

All of you who are leaving in the next few days, have a great trip!!! Can't wait to see all your pictures!

Amy :)

I notice that Amy did not specifically deny the rumor. So, Amy, are you or aren't you?

Kate - sorry to hear that you are down and out today. Glad to hear something stayed down (and in). Here's to hoping you feel better tomorrow. You need to feel well while Denise is gone to kick butt in post count.

Legalslave - sorry you had a tough day in court. I would think you could have declared the atty. in question as incompetent since he asked you the same question multiple times in 1 hour. I guess you will have to decline if ever asked to sign his will. Glad to hear your daughter is doing better.

Tammi - I get the same way before holidays (especially if they involve traveling). Just one suggestion that has worked for me. Stop looking at the new designs and choose the ones you plan to use. Print them off (no going back then), and then decide on your colors. Then iron and be done. That seems to be the thing that is causing you a lot of stress. I would do short sleeve shirts and then bring a couple of long sleeve tees or turtlenecks in white to layer underneath if needed. When that task is done, get them packed and you will be so glad that is done. As to your son's b-day party, is it all planned? If not, sit tonight and do that.

I guess my biggest suggestion would be do set up a calendar and work backwards from when you leave. If you list everything that needs to be done and which day it will be done, it will be much more manageable and you can see that it can all be done.

Good luck!

Well, I know that they are on EST, but sometimes they are an hour behind since they don't observe DST. For now anyway. We Ohioans have spent years trying to remember when they are and when they aren't, and now they're going to switch starting next year and STAY on our time. Whatever....

I think they are the same time as us right now, I just called a friend. Thanks! :goodvibes
