For everyone leaving soon - have an awesome time. Take a little time to appreciate the decorations at the Parks and the resorts. The little touches are really amazing.

Well, I did get a little Disney the last couple of days, we decorated our Christmas tree. It is an all Disney Christmas tree. No un-Disney ornaments are allowed. We have worked on it for 2 nights and still have 3 more boxes in the basement. I think we need a few more in some key spots and then we'll be done. My only regret is that we can't seem to find a decent garland that is moderately priced. We saw some this month when we were there, but it was ridiculously expensive when I thought about buying enough for the entire tree.

Seeing the decorations is my main objective this trip - I was just there in March and decided that since I have always wanted to see WDW all dressed up for the holidays, I was going to go again. Did you see the special on the Food Network last night? It was all about the decorations (especially the edible ones). It's going to be repeated several times. I'm sure you can find the schedule online somewhere. It made me even more anxious for Monday to get here!

I did happen to catch it quite by accident. It made me want to go back. Our trip this month was way too commando (new people who had never been), I want a December trip to just look around and enjoy. I was on travelocity last night and could get the Swan for the 4 of us Christmas week for $2,300 (including airfare), we already have AP's. Why won't DH say yes?

The 7 sets of ornaments that went on tonight. I love the "book" sets WDW sells:

:earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

I have one large box in the loft with EVERYTHING except the tree in - whole lot takes about an hour. DH would SOOO not spend more than a couple of hours on decorating!

Now lets huddle up for a good gossip about tiny feet :grouphug: ;)

Have a great time!

Hope Denise & family are already at the airport on their way!!!

Thanks all for the kind words about our tree. Miss Missy - this tree has been about 6 years in the making. I have bought a ton of ornaments at TDS, at WDW and at Hallmark. I thought my Tinkerbell Treetopper still had a broken wing, so we looked for something new and DD6 gave us her Sorcerer Mickey hat, so that worked. Then I found 2 TB treetoppers. They will still work next year.

Did anyone else notice that Amy didn't deny anything? Sounds like they are "trying." According to my DH, we just spent a lot of time "practicing" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .

Now that Denise is gone and Kate is sick, I guess some of us will have to take up the slack and keep this thread going. Therefore, more rumors, suppositions and speculations are encouraged since I don't have the creativity, nor the program to actually design anything!
