Rosiejo - So glad to hear that your wedding was wonderful and that you are having a great time.

What are crocs?

The most comfortable shoes on the planet, although not always the most attractive! :rotfl:

I heard about them here (great for walking all day at the parks), but now I have the whole hospital floor hooked! I wear one variety or another at some point almost every day! :goodvibes

Oh wow, thanks for the info. So they're really comfy, huh? They don't look it. LOL Are they plastic?

UM...... lol... they're sort of a mix between plastic and rubber. I know, I know.... Believe me. It took a LOT of convincing for me, too.

Look online and see if you have a retailer near you. Most will only sell the 'beach' variety, but you can at least try them on and see how they feel. Honestly, it's like you're walking on air. And they're so light, that even I don't mind having them on all day (and I HATE wearing shoes :rotfl: )

Oh -- and they're perfect for being outside as well, because they can get dirty or wet and it's no problem!

Do your feet sweat in them? They sound great! And there's a store not too far from here who would have them. :scratchin

Well, it depends. Some of them have holes so air kind of flows through and keep your feet cool. Others don't, and it depends on if you wear socks or not (a great debate on some threads  ). I don't really find that my feet sweat in them at all, espeically compared to other shoes.

:scratchin Hmm, ok. Guess I need to go take a look at them. Thanks for all the info!! :goodvibes

I'm hoping someone can help me. I know...again. Nicholas keeps telling me he wants this "foam" stuff for Christmas. He's seen it advertised on commercials on the Disney or other cartoon channels. His description of it is that it sticks to everything. DH says he caught a snipit of the commercial. He says its like play-doh, in that you can mold it around stuff and such. I've searched the internet on the "as seen on tv" sights, but can't figure out what it is. And a search of just "foam" is extremely broad, as you can imagine. Does anyone know what this stuff is and where I can get it?

I know exactly what you're talking about. Stephanie keeps saying that she wants it. I can't remember the name though. Fat lot of good I am, huh? :rotfl: Is it Floam?

Which style would you recommend for walking around WDW? Can you wear any of them without socks, like with shorts or capris?

In the summer I definitely wore them without socks (can't in the hospitals). They look fine that way. I personally like the Metro the best. There aren't holes all over (like the Beach and a few others), but there are the little "vents" at the bottom. Also, those come in actual numbered sizes, as opposed to XS (4-5), S (6-7), etc.

I have Beach, Metro, and Aspen and they're all great :rotfl:

Lynn,

I thought the Wiggles was good, but not as good as last year. And I was disappointed to learn Greg is sick and having surgery. My kids were upset he was missing. Hope he's back soon!

We missed Murray last year while he was home for a sick family member. Terra was so upset as he was (is) her favorite. She was so excited to see them all when we went a few months ago.

Does that little strappy thing come off so you can wear them like clogs?

I really always thought he was gay!! (okay - I kind of thought they all were - until I really realized the just act towards millions of kids the way most dads only act at home!! :rotfl: )

Have you ever seen Santa's Rockin'? His wife is in the song "This Little Baby is Born Again". She is holding their very newborn (probably only a few weeks old) in the song.

You may already have your answer, since I'm still a few pages from the end...

It's Floam. I don't know anything about it other than what I've seen on the commercial.

who posted about the DVD's on ebay? Thanks for the tip - guess what my kids are getting for Christmas:

they have every toy under the sun and will get whatever they don't have from grandparents so I figured this is something they will LOVE - after all the planning DVD is their favorite!!!

Yes! The first one listing are the ones that I have, though I don't think that I have the Christmas one that he talks about. It must be something new that he added. The videos are all pretty well done for home video. They are steady with no excess noise or shots of the kids mixed in. We watch the parade one ALL of the time. I am still worried that Terra is going to be upset when she realizes that they don't do the Epcot parade anymore.

I am going to order the other ones sometime as well so that we can get some of our favorite shows. I'd be interested know how you like those when you get them.

hey gang i asked you not to post to much :rotfl2: :rotfl: I have to go read 25 pages now. geeez

Who originally posted this????? Have you watched it and what do you think???

I just replied to Kate, but will add...I have the listing under the first link. We have watched at least 8 of the DVDs and really like them. The parades are all shot from good locations with direct views of the parade and no extra people in the way. The sound is very good as well. The extinct ride videos are pretty good considering the attractions themselves are dark. Terra loves to watch the Carousel of Progress DVD. Even just the DVDs that we have watched were worth the price we paid.

I just noticed that I don't have the current attraction DVDs that he mentions in the first couple of listings. I may have to contact the seller and see if I can purchase them separately.
