Been searching out dis shirts all holiday and think I saw the people who requested all the dwarf designs from lady lucca!

Wedding was amazing the weather held out for us and we had a perfect day. Will post some pics when I get home on Saturday.

Hope you're all well - see I have lots to catch up on!

RJ
Clare - that was us in the 7 dwarf shirts! Darn - I wish you would have come up and said hi, I was looking for you. Everytime I saw bride ears, I would look for the red hair. I thought of you on your wedding day, and hoped everything was perfect.

We miss you!

ReAnSt - what a beautiful thing you did, and what a beautiful outcome! I did that about 2 years ago. Even after I cut it, my hair was still shoulder length. I cut mine short about 1 year ago and I am still trying to get used to it. It can be such a change, can't it?

Brendita - You go girl! You are doing exactly what you need to do for yourself and your DS. Just remember that you are the 2 most important people in the world!

I didn't see Claire or anyone else from the DDA, but for nayone that knows her, I ran into Photobearsam on the monorail! She took my pic and said she had met about 10 other Disers that week! She plans on posting the pics too!

Hi all,
I set up a photobucker account so you could see the pictures of me as Tony The Tiger and also one with my one sister Cheryl and I with Devine.
http://photobucket.com/albums/c302/tinker1bell/
I now have such respect of anyone who dons the costume of ANY character. I had the chance to dress up as Tony the Tiger. The place that I work for sponsors Lancaster Night Out for New Years Eve. Kelloggs, one of the sponsors was going to have Tony the Tiger help to unveil the button design and also walk around, interact with the children and basically have a little fun. The one picture is Tony and Cylo, who is the mascot for our local baseball team (The Barnstormers) actually unveiling the design. The other one is me with my handler Bonnie. She would let me know anytime I needed to watch out for anyone coming in for a hug or picture.
I am about 5' 2 3/4" tall and so is Bonnie, so you can see how tall I ended up to be in character.

So here I am a grandmother of 55 dressing up as Tony. I tend to have heat flashes, (private summers) so my first concern was how long I would last in the costume. Luckily Bonnie had it in her car overnight so I passed the first hurdle. Basically I just stood there and she dressed me. It is like putting on a fat suit. Tony needs muscle so I put on pants with padding on the thighs and calves. Then I put on the upper body. Now I really was looking buff. At that point I should have taken a picture of me so you could see what is under a given character. She then proceeds to put the costume on me pulling and stretching and I am just standing there having her dress me like a two year old in their snow suit :rotfl: I could not take a picture of me in just the body part because of restrictions, so ya'll gotta believe that is me in that suit. The head part is neat. It has a football type helmet inside so once I am strapped in that, the head stays pretty stable. Where the mouth is, that is where I look out. So depth preception is very limited. After an hour I was done, needed to get that head off. If I had had an ice pack on my neck, I could have lasted longer.
I only was called Tigger once, had my tail pulled a few times and I only scared one child. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was weird to be quiet and just interact with the people. You have to notice everything about who you are standing in front of, and go with what you see.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Be forwarned that it takes forever to get Floam. I ordered it at least 5 weeks before my sons birthday and it took about 10 weeks to get it. There was no way to contact the company either, no phone number or email contact. They didn't charge my cc until they shipped it and even though I had a confirmation I was sure that they never processed the order then it just showed up one day. Long story short you may not have it for Christmas. My son is still asking if it has come and I keep telling him no, he better asks Santa for it and maybe the elves can make some. :rotfl:
Deb

I saw Floam at AC Moore over the weekend. You might try your local stores first. If you can't find it, let me know. I will be at the mall after our trip (weekend of 12/10). I can pick some up for you and mail it if you need.

OK I need to catch up.
I'm on page 877 post 13141.
Here's the up-date with DH.
He went out Fri after work before I got home.
Comes home @ 10:30 P.M.
He goes out Sat night while I'm in the shower.
I ask DS if he said where he's going.
DS says DH went to DSD house to visit a friend from out of town.
I know he has lied.
I talk to DSD he doesn't.
He doesn't know I talk to her.
So I go looking for him.
I didn't find him.
I go home.
Call him 3x's before he answers.
I told him that I was done with his actions.
He hung up on me.
I called back many times left many messages.
Jammed up his cell.
He didn't come home that night.
Sun A.M I go looking for him again.
Found him @ his work says he slept there.
Talked & yelled back & forth.
Finally agreed to go home & talk.
I said what I needed, wanted & what I would & wouldn't put up with.
He did the same.
He has agreed to start talking & make changes.
Talked together with DS let him know there was going to be a
lot of changes made for the better.
I told him that I had papers ready to file if changes were not made NOW!!
If by any means he goes back to what it was.
I will file & relocate.
Yes to Atlanta area.
I did a lot of research I really like this area.
I want to thank everyone for the Pixie Dust :grouphug: Prayers.
I know I wouldn't have made it through this without you all.

Many hugs and prayers coming your way. I hope that you see the changes you need ASAP!!! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Yes! He confirmed. Thank you so much. That was one of only 2 things that he is asking for for Christmas and I had to find it. Thank you thank you.

You're welcome! :)

I trimmed around both the dark and light transfers. The light ones will leave a shiney area wherever there is transfer without ink. The dark ones will leave anything not printed white. You can cut creatively to make a white border.

Deb

Thank you!!!
