A John Deere one!

Very cute - start of deer season on Saturday around here. Paul came home from work early -- too many people shooting, he thought they were going to hit him!!!

Denise -- the John Deere one is too cute. If you ask my DS6 what kind of car he wants when he grows up, he says, "A John Deere" and looks at me like, DUH! He loves tractors and could tell you the names of them before he learned to read, just by the color and style. All this and we don't even own a tractor, although he has the motorized gator, catepillar, pedal New Holland, and a kid-sized "real" tractor that his uncle made that looks like a John Deere.

We're not used to having shot guns around - we're city folk until a year ago! If you want to make deer hunting a sport, give the deer a gun. Now that would make some funny videos!!

We bow hunt for deer as it is much harder and more of a "sport". I use the shotgun for quail and dove. I also love to go skeet shooting (the little clay round disks).

Speaking of new hairstyles, I just got 12 inches chopped off which I am donating to Locks of Love. I also went a more red chocolately color. It is so short, but I love it.

I have wanted to chop if off for months but told myself the last time I got it cut short that I was donating it this time so I wasn't letting myself cut it off early, like I have done many times before. Normally I end up letting it get almost long enough and get about 7 to 8 inches cut off and it is short again and continue this cycle of long to short, but this time I wasn't letting myself sabotage the plan to donate it.

I was at my Disney Store today and the shelves were pretty empty. Although I overheard them at the Disney store saying that they were expecting more than 100 boxes of stuff. So I am sure by this weekend they will be well stocked.

I'm pretty good with a gun myself. I'll go too.

I used to hunt before kids, never actually killed anything though. Bow season is my favorite as it is still warmer and the woods are beautiful. My older 2 are wanting to start hunting soon so I guess DH and I will have to go out with them. We have a hunting camp so no excuses. Not to many hunters on our land.

You're on, Deb! My parents went to Vermont last summer for over 2 weeks on vacation. They stayed in inns and B&B's. They just loved how beautiful and friendly everyone is there. They had a wonderful trip.

Question....I am finally getting around to putting a photo in my signature. I know how to post it but it is huge. How do I resize it?

Did you open up a photobucket account?? If so, before or after you upload a picture to photobucket, there is a question that says "resize to half or 1/4 of original picture". When I do one for my signature, I use 1/4. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, I need the page in front of me to type the directions! This should help though.

Nice job!! I think for the first one, $5 is great. Just make sure he understands that is for the first one only!!!!!!!!!!
