Oh, any ideas for stuff for the kids to take for the airport, plane, hotel to keep busy? We got them the V-Tech pocket game system as a surprise (Christmas from the grandparents), the markers and coloring book from the Queen. any other good suggestions?

yes - this is a MUST HAVE for Disney and the airplanes - they are at WalMart for like $6 - a doodlepro by fisher price - my kids LOVE them and I got them each one and they could easily fit in our bag and they would sit and draw on them forever - at home they don't have much use for them - but on the plane and in line - they LOVED them -here is a picture of one - I got them each their own and their own style so there was no fighting over them

Good idea. We have 3 in the car. I'll pack them. And yes, you're on my list. It will be late though, as I'm hoping for a good picture from WDW!

Oh, you know those magic pen books, they love those! They are in the resort gift shops I think, you can get them for the room when your there.

Denise - I am so excited for you. Believe me, you will cry when you see the look on your kiddos faces when they see the "world" for the first time. It gets me every time. Capture that moment and don't ever forget it. Sounds like you have a wonderful family, getting you a new camcorder. I am looking for a new one for this trip.

Kate - Your Christmas card is great. I really like the snowfall and the snowpeople. Also let me mention how thoughtful you are sending Denise that wonderful surprise basket. Your generosity is heartwarming! What a great bunch of gals you all are.

Hhmmm....I'm trying to remember if there was any other comments I was meaning to make after reading through all these pages. Oh well, can't think of anything of the top of my head.

Oh, boy!! We're supposed to leave a week from tomorrow and my daughter's in intensive care. She has diabetes (since she was 10) and went way out of control. She has been under a lot of stress lately, and like a pressure cooker, when it gets to be too much pressure - she blows. Her blood sugar was so high that the machine couldn't measure it. Last night it was down to a little over 200, but this morning she's vomiting again. Usually once she gets an insulin drip and gets hydrated, she bounces right back and would be out of the hospital in a couple of days. We need some pixie dust that she gets under control soon so we can make our trip as planned.

Oh my goodness! She is in my thoughts and prayers. Let her get out of the hospital quick! Good numbers coming..

Quick question. I'm going to start packing the suitcases. How did you pack the shirts? Will the designs crack if I fold them, or should I lay them flat?

I folded my shirts so that I didn't crease my designs. My shirts have held up really well.

I just noticed that the one we wore on the plane was YOUR design. The destination Disney one. So cool. Thank you! That SW flight will never be the same......

This is by far my favorite time of year.

Denise, watch your children's faces as they experience Disney for the first time. It will take your breath away. My favorite two videos from Disney are the 90 seconds during the Share a Dream Parade when Snow White stopped the float and danced with my DGD(she was wearing her Snow White outfit and we had seen Snow White when we ate at CRT that morning at breakfast)

And the almost 30 minutes of me taping my DGS while he watched Playhouse Disney. Notice I didn't say I taped the show. I taped his reaction to the show. It was great. He clapped and danced and jumped for joy.

My favorite still shots are of my son with the Princesses. (he's 30 something)My sil after he drove the car at RPDE. tinker1bell with Devine.

Have wonderful time and make great memories.

Well - I think if you take it they giev you a card for a couple of fastpasses - that alone could convince him - then when you go next year you can stay at WL

and when we go in 2007 - we can stay at BWV!!!

Anyone else planning a December 2007 trip?

We're going back to WDW for our tenth anniversary Dec. 2007. It will be my first on-site trip.(A dream since a child, my family always stayed off-site) Already trying to figure out which hotel to stay at. Being a family of 6, we'll probably need 2 rooms. I love the GF but the cost of 2 rooms there. At least, we have time to figure it out.

On my way home, I stopped at Staples and had my index cards with my daily WDW plan on them laminated. Anyone else will probably say I'm nuts - but no one here would - right?

This is a normal and sensible thing to do in view of the uncertain weather and the wet rides!
