Marti - you must REALLY love me then!!! The feeling is mutual!! I know you and I have the same sense of humor!!! Do you have a trip planned for December 2007?

Right now we are going for a quick trip for my birthday in January and then we have no plans. We should have nearly 200 points by next fall (I forget how much we've borrowed for this January trip). Our annual pass expires in April so that isn't a factor. We haven't scheduled our annual vacation for 06 yet, so I don't know about 07 - send hunka hunka a PM and try to talk him into it! I'm game!!

That's too funny, because I'm sure they've done it! Me, I'm a city girl through and through. Cincinnati is the smallest city I've lived in! Honestly, I thought the roads weren't paved up in this corner of the state.... which made DH about die!

Everybody shares children's milestone and I have one tonight. My 4 year old is spending the night with her MiMi tonight for the first time. She is my baby and has tried many times but she has always needed her mommy and came home. No midnight trip tonight... she is asleep. Now, if I can just get some sleep and stop crying. It seems like the last step to independence.

Julia has always been happy to leave me - her first day of preschool - 2 months shy of her 3rd birthday - she looked at me in the classroom and said - "you're just dropping me off - right?"

I was happy that she was so excited but when I left I drove straight to my mom's house and started sobbing when I saw her!!!

I did it!

I called SoG this morning ... waited a half hour for a human .. and they had room. I asked about cancellign since we are already in the 30 day window .. and basically, I would lose a night. I saod OK .. and needed to figure out plane ressies. I hung up and then I asked myself -- WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING??????


I called her and told her there was no room at SoG and if she wanted, I could help her find space at the All-Stars or Pop. She wasn't interested and said -- we'll just pass It wasn't meant to be.

DONE! It's DONE!

I still have ears for her kids .... So .. I will give them when we come back -- as souveniers. They don't know they were bought last May - and probably won't care. If Mom cares ... well ... sorry charlie. I bought them on good faith that we were all going.


BTW .. abiout going on a trip with people of different means .... that's not exactly true here. We both have about the same incomes ... problem is, we don't have to pay for a room, air, or any park tix etc. When we went last Feb -- we brought sandwiches into the park .. cause we could just about afford to go. Restaurants were out of the question. So, this time ... we're able to do that ... and it's nice.


I think the only thing I have left to do is call the kennel for my pup.

Hi all, I wanted to show you the shirt I made for our last trip in October. The picture didn't come out well, so I'll explain. Basically, it had our whole trip on it. Day-by-Day with the logo of whatever we were doing that day. It seemed like EVERYONE stopped and asked me where I got this shirt from PHL airport to Disney. Even CMs at Disney asked me if I got it done there or not. Here's the picture, sorry it's not very good. We are also wearing the shirts in the picture in my sig.

Yes, it's 3:00 in the morning. Light snow. We built a fire and made smores. All of my family will be here tomorrow. I'm so excited.

I really want to make the BF shirt, but my new printer has broken... Must be a sign.

Is anyone else going to stand in a long line at Circuit City for the $199 laptop???

Only one of my sons and kitchensink guy had birthdays last week. I always have one family party for my 3 sons. They are born Sept 29, Oct 24 and Nov 17. We usually have the party in October, but since we were at WDW We held off until last night.

To Denise and Kate -- you know I harrass because I love ya! To all the others that may think I'm too sarcastic - my humble apologies. I do what I can to make people smile, and sometimes people don't get my humor. Its all in jest... I only kid those I love. Have a great holiday tomorrow, and don't eat too much!

Oh sure!! Did anyone else notice the seperation between the DDA Buddies- and the next paragraph that seperates the "buddies" from Kate and Denise?!?!?! Maybe a little Freudian slip??? I THINK NOT!

Denise - first Shriva, and now this guy. Why do you attract these kinds??? BTW, love your new do. I got mine done Tues., too, and it is considerably darker. Not sure about it yet.

I am now in Pittsburgh with my family. Woke up to 4 inches of snow!! The kids can't wait to go sledding! You all in Ohio prob got a bit too. In VA this would cancel school for 4 days!

DH has just left to go get me a paper and some crispy cream donuts yum! We dont have to be at my parents until Noon and they only live about 15-20 miles from us.
