Hi all, I wanted to show you the shirt I made for our last trip in October. The picture didn't come out well, so I'll explain. Basically, it had our whole trip on it. Day-by-Day with the logo of whatever we were doing that day. It seemed like EVERYONE stopped and asked me where I got this shirt from PHL airport to Disney. Even CMs at Disney asked me if I got it done there or not. Here's the picture, sorry it's not very good. We are also wearing the shirts in the picture in my sig.

I need to put it back. No there was a troll on some of my other threads posting very vulgar, nasty, horrible stuff about me and the kids. I took it out to avoid more slams. BTW, they finally deleted/banned him or her.

Jennifer and Amy - I don't mind if I keep hosting game night - maybe someday she will get over it - but when you are allergic to animals - it makes it hard to make her spend time with one and get over it!!! It also doesn't help that are neighbors across the street have yappy little dogs that bark like the dickens and run at her stopping at their electrical fence EVERY time she goes outside

I didn't mean anything by that! I didn't realize she was allergic to dogs as well, Amy just mentioned cats (I think). Lots of kids are just afraid of dogs until they see one a bit or whatever.... I can certainly understand if she doesn't like them all that much if the ones she sees chase after her all the time!!

Do you think I should be trying to use the car to get around? We are gonna be at the POP and have a car, just like my last trip... but I used POP buses and I thought it was great. Parking is free becuz staying on site. I only used the car once last trip. What do you think?

We stayed at both Pop and POFQ last trip. We liked both, but would probably do POFQ next trip. It is smaller, more tastefully decorated and has a bit more space as well as a fridge. Pop has the over the top theming, is large, but still easy to navigate, and has it's own bus route. We had a rental car the whole trip and will definately do that on future trips. It was so easy and much faster than Disney Transportation. We had the AAA parking pass so it worked out perfectly. Sometime I will finish my trip report.

I am sooo behind on this post, will catch up, but need to keep going here, days are moving fast! I just finished our mother-daughter MVMCP design , (added in my siggy too).

How does the design look? I found a picture online of Mickey with Regis and Kelly and replaced them with me and my DD

Denise - you should go buy rechargeable batteries - you can buy them with a charger for about 9.99 -

regular batteries can take about 50 pictures - and a rechargeable can take about 300 - as long as you recharge them in your room each night - you will save a ton of money- but carry one set of regualr ones as a back up just in case

Yes! I just did that. I got the duracell charger and 4 rechargbles all in one, also these are the 1 hr recharges, others took 8 hrs. I paid 17 bucks at walmart.

I thought this was timely and hilarious (and no it didn't happen to me).

One year at Christmas my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a
trick.

She told my sister that she needed something from the store. When my
sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing,
stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the
turkey.

She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven.

When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven
and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit
something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird.

With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia,
you've cooked a pregnant bird!"

At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!

I did it!

I called SoG this morning ... waited a half hour for a human .. and they had room. I asked about cancellign since we are already in the 30 day window .. and basically, I would lose a night. I saod OK .. and needed to figure out plane ressies. I hung up and then I asked myself -- WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING??????


I called her and told her there was no room at SoG and if she wanted, I could help her find space at the All-Stars or Pop. She wasn't interested and said -- we'll just pass It wasn't meant to be.

DONE! It's DONE!

I still have ears for her kids .... So .. I will give them when we come back -- as souveniers. They don't know they were bought last May - and probably won't care. If Mom cares ... well ... sorry charlie. I bought them on good faith that we were all going.


BTW .. abiout going on a trip with people of different means .... that's not exactly true here. We both have about the same incomes ... problem is, we don't have to pay for a room, air, or any park tix etc. When we went last Feb -- we brought sandwiches into the park .. cause we could just about afford to go. Restaurants were out of the question. So, this time ... we're able to do that ... and it's nice.


I think the only thing I have left to do is call the kennel for my pup.

We're doing the DIS meet at the carousel at 11:30pm and have CP ADR at 5:30pm. Doing the late parade and fireworks. See you there! Kids will have on Kate's Heffalump shirts (unless it gets really cold) and I'll have on the Mickey Palm Tree shirt.
