I'm using the e-bay paper from macintosh and I think I'll put it on a purple sweatshirt that I already have. But first, I need to find my iron.

marti - I am sure by creative - you certainly don't mean anything like telling them that you are going to go eat in a restaurant at the Poly :earseek:

Now where would you get an idea like that :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl: You don't forget a trick do you??? And, by the way, it worked for you didn't it???

I have a huge question. I just tried my first t shirt, and the places where it is supposed to be transparent, it all turned yellowish when I removed the paper! I trimmed around the design as best I could, but there were still some spots that had to be left....What did I do wrong??? What can I do differently?

Its not that you did anything wrong, its that you were probably too excited and pressed too hard for too long. The pressing hard part is ok, but you can't do it for too long. It sounds like you burnt the shirt a little. Try ironing just a little less time.

I have NO idea what you are talking about - actually I have never gone without a AAA pass so I never really needed to do that

Oh sure, once again the Queen tries to come out smelling like a rose. Is there a throw up smiley?????

I did it!

I called SoG this morning ... waited a half hour for a human .. and they had room. I asked about cancellign since we are already in the 30 day window .. and basically, I would lose a night. I saod OK .. and needed to figure out plane ressies. I hung up and then I asked myself -- WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING??????

I called her and told her there was no room at SoG and if she wanted, I could help her find space at the All-Stars or Pop. She wasn't interested and said -- we'll just pass It wasn't meant to be.

DONE! It's DONE!

I still have ears for her kids .... So .. I will give them when we come back -- as souveniers. They don't know they were bought last May - and probably won't care. If Mom cares ... well ... sorry charlie. I bought them on good faith that we were all going.

BTW .. abiout going on a trip with people of different means .... that's not exactly true here. We both have about the same incomes ... problem is, we don't have to pay for a room, air, or any park tix etc. When we went last Feb -- we brought sandwiches into the park .. cause we could just about afford to go. Restaurants were out of the question. So, this time ... we're able to do that ... and it's nice. :)

I think the only thing I have left to do is call the kennel for my pup.

I'm glad that it worked out for you. You will have a much nicer trip just the 3 of you. Could another family member go with you like one of your parents? The could help with your son too.

I thought this was timely and hilarious (and no it didn't happen to me).

One year at Christmas my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a
trick.

She told my sister that she needed something from the store. When my
sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing,
stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the
turkey.

She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven.

When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven
and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit
something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird.

With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia,
you've cooked a pregnant bird!"

At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!

Ok, I'm laughing out loud on that one. Wish I had been a fly on the wall.

Deb,

Do you think I should be trying to use the car to get around? We are gonna be at the POP and have a car, just like my last trip... but I used POP buses and I thought it was great. Parking is free becuz staying on site. I only used the car once last trip. What do you think?

We have used the Disney transportation on our last 6 trips and always thought it was fine too. This trip we used our car for everything except MK since you have to park at the TTC anyway. I can't believe how easy it was to get around. Since we had 2 umbrella strollers we used them from the car, in the parks and back to the car. We did have the AAA pass for parking so we were able to park close and were pleased with the parking spots. I'd have to say we saved several hours of travel time over our 9 day trip. You could always try it and see what you think. If it doesn't work for you then take the bus.
When is your next trip.
