Great picture :goodvibes Glad to hear your ds is feeling better. I got a call from school this morning & had to pick up Riley. He has been throwing up all day :( He is having bad stomach cramps as well. Is this the bug that has been going around? I feel so bad for him, he is in tears. Other than trying to give him liquids is there anything I can give him that might help?

I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

Oh yay!! Congrats!! So can I honestly say I was the first DDA'er to see you pregnant? ;) hehehehe

My DS 11 has broken my heart. I am absolutely devastated and not sure what to do.

He wants to either go to Sea World on our next trip or wonders if we could go to Universal. :earseek: :earseek: He is also afraid to mention it to me, I might get mad at him. :rotfl:

I had already thought about adding a couple of night in August at Universal. I have heard we need to stay on site to use the front of the line passes. He is afraid that I will be upset if he doesn't want to do all Disney all the time.

This time we will still do some WDW because we have APs that are good through November, but I guess we might have to do some off-site visits also.

I dread the day my kids want to go offsite!! :earseek: Something tells me I have a while for that - how did he ever hear about Universal anyway - I plan on not letting my children watch anything but Disney Channel and ABC to avoid this!! :rotfl:

My oldest mentioned going to the Nick Hotel & Universal (she saw a commercial on nickeloedeon)...I gave her a look :earseek: ...she hasn't asked again! :rotfl2:

Sounds like what hit my DDs school. She was home for 2 days last week. If he is still throwing up, then nothing will probably stay done, otherwise give him some kids motrin. It might help the pain.

I confess, I take my boys to universal :smooth: But we still love Disney best ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

BRIBE! Actually, they are still in photo mode from the trip. :rotfl: That was the only shot I took. Amazing!

Great picture Denise - My standard line is "Pretend you like your sister/brother!" That usually makes them laugh.

Unfortunately, the 11 year old has figured out how to turn on Nickelodeon (right next to Disney Channel on satellite).

Since we bought into DVC we will spend most of our nites on-site, but the pain. I figure we will just have to add on to this trip, gotta use those APs. I think if we want to go to Universal in the summer, we will have to stay on-site to use the front of the line pass. I am not ready for this. I wonder if TGM has a plan for Universal?

DS is afraid to mention it to me. I must be one tough Disney cookie.

I have been hinting to DH that I wanted to go back for Christmas this year (we went 12/22- 12/27 last year). He said no. DS11 said that it just wasn't like Christmas. I think I am just trying to run away from Christmas Day at my DMs. I love her to death, but since my dad died in '03, it just doesn't feel right.

Thank you, I will try the motrin.

Popsicles, Pedialyte, Gatorade. Then try crackers, dry toast and move on to bananas and applesauce. Then chicken broth. Main thing is to keep hydrated and comfortable. Hugs!
