Can anyone out there answer this question? When I iron on a navy shirt, is it going to be white everywhere there is white on the transfer paper? Does that mean I need to trim close to the design?

I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I forget.

On a dark paper yes, white will be white, triming tight will work. Hope that helps!

I'm here, but headed to bed. Just finished doing the most depressing letter asking for Medicaid for Rees (medically necessary Medicaid for kids with disabilities). he does so well, but when you look at all the stuff on paper it's really hard to swallow. Oh, well. Doesn't matter. He's the most awesome kids in the world and I'm so lucky to be his mom and have him here instead of heaven. Ok, I'm crying and signing off. Sorry to be a downer, but being the parent of a special needs child is such a privilege and a heart breaker at the same time. Night all.

OK thanks. I was wanting to put Denise's 4 Parks design on a navy shirt, but was worried that if the white didn't show up between the diamonds it would blend in too much. I think that on navy with a white turtleneck underneath will look nice. We will wear those to the Candlelight Processional.

And thank you sooo much for the postcards. They were awesome! I'm glad you had a good time!

Wow, you guys like the time consuming drinks.

An ameretto sours sounds good, but I usually go for a slo comfortable screw. More alcohol and it tastes good.

Deb
Hey Deb that's what I used to drink.
Slo Screws.
1st time DH & I went out.
He asks me what I'm drinking.
Gives me the money to go to bar & order.
Chicken **** wouldn't order it. :rotfl2:

So, last night we made four batches of cut-out cookie dough and this morning we went to breakfast with Santa...when I logged in an hour ago, I was 30 pages behind!!! :earseek:

I can't possibly respond to all that I want to comment on, but I will say, all your talk of alcohol is maddening! Between trying to get pregnant with Alyssa, being pregnant with Alyssa, nursing Alyssa for 15 months, trying to get pregnant again, and being pregnant again, I think I've had two drinks since July 2003!!!! Marti's going to have a birthday drink for me on January 24 in WDW though, right Martha? :teeth:

Denise, hope you're feeling better today. :goodvibes

And Kate, I hope you are having a GRAND time at that baby shower!!! :rotfl:

You're all in stealth mode. Now I'll never know who's on.
Very sneaky. Kate can keep an eye on Amy and she won't even know....

Deb

That's just a scary thought. But, I thought I was Kate's stalker! :rotfl:

Amy & poohangel -

I have been thinking about something special to do for your little ones - and I finally figured it out - any other DDAers who would like to go in on this gift with me please let me know - also this offer stands for anyone who gets pregnant or even has a grandchild on the way...

I would like to pay for your babies admission and food at WDW until their 3rd birthday - I know adding another one to your family might make you feel like Disney will be too expensive - so I would like to lighten the load so that you can take them while they are young - I think it is so fun to see your little one at WDW around the age of 2!!!

Time to test the filter again.

Kate, you are such a generous WENCH!!! :rotfl2:

Amy :)

This just proves what I was just thinking. Instead of a message board we need a chat room. This way we could send sounds back and forth but than again those who aren't on at the same time would miss out. With the chat room you could send sounds back and forth.

Boy its been a long time since I was in a chat room. I use to go to them quite often but that was before the Dis. I kept getting to much strange mail and things. I would much rather hang out with a group of DDA'ers I don't know than a chatroom full of strangers who bombard me with unmentionables on this board.

Becky

Becky,

Years ago when I was back on the original Prodigy, I used to go into the cat chat room. There would be up to as many as 20 of us chatting about our cats and anything else we could think of.
We had all the sounds. DH even made one of the sound of his Harley driving off. It was the best time ever. I even had a chance to meet some of the other chatters. I do miss that bunch.

40+ pages in one day?!?!?!??!?!??!?!? :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

I'm sorry, but I really don't have time today to read every post :guilty:

Did I miss anything important? I literally skimmed through (flying through) to see if anything was addressed to me and didn't see anything else. Hope everyone had fun last night! Fill me in if I missed anything!!

Kate... I did happen to see the smiley spitting diet coke on the screen. Kyle even laughed out loud, and he doesn't even really get the extent of it! :rotfl:

Thank in advance for updating me! I wish I could read it all but I'm starting to freak out today. Home though, so let the studying, Disney dinner, t-shrit planning, etc marathon begin! :earseek:

Brenda,
My mother used to make the best divinity. When we were living in warm locations, she would crank up the air conditioning and make it really cold inside and then we would take turns stirring and stirring. Unfortunately I lost the recepie.

although I have a confession - I am drinking Diet Dr. Pepper right now!!
Ok so I'm the odd ball here.
I can't drink soda.
Green Tea with honey Decafe.
Maybe that's why I'm always behind.
No kick in it.
D*** tummy problems.
At least I'm down to a size 8 from 12.
