LOL Kate! :rotfl:

I just made Kevin pause Everwood so I could read your post to him and as soon as I got to "unsportsmanlike behavior," he yelled, "Hey!" He claims he will respond after his show is over.

Amy :)

I KNEW that would get to him!! :rotfl: Tell him it is too easy to harass him!!

Okay guys -- need advice. My DS6 is going to be the lead in his class's annual play. He's going to be Bearsie Bear. I just got a note yesterday that I need to find him brown warm-ups and "appropriate" shoes.

Well, I don't remember ever seeing brown children's warm-ups. I guess I could take white and try to dye them, but it would be difficult to get them dark enough brown, evenly without streaks. And as for shoes, what do I do? I pictured him in "bear" feet (sorry, been up since 5 a.m. this morning, running errands all day, so I am a little "goofy"), but I guess that would be kind of gross running around in the school without shoes.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a brown bear costume that I made for my son. I think it is a size 8 -10. I'd be happy to loan it to you if that would work.

Here's a couple of pictures of the new addition.
DS took the picture of her eating.

She is sooo cute. I had to look twice to see her on your DS's legs. She just blends in. What kind did you say she was.

How hard is the trivia game? I wondered if my DD 7 & 4 would enjoy it.

I am trying to upload my Disney World pictures to winkflash to print. We have only been back almost 5 weeks & I don't have any pictures yet. :confused3 It is taking forever.

Deb -- that is incredibly kind of you! Unfortunately, my son is nothing like me -- he's fairly small, and I think an 8 - 10 would be way too big. He wears a 6 slim. I wouldn't want him to step all over the bottom of it or catch it on something if it's too big. Could you describe what you made him and maybe I could get a local person to make me one?

She is a Devon Rex her color is blue.
I love her coat.
Just like a fresh sheared lamb.
Doesn't have the third layer of fur like other cats.

It's a mixed game the questions are for kids & adults.
It's a lot of fun.

Game night sounds fun! Maybe I need one here in Helena, AL. It was a Helena resident (ksoehrlein) that linked me here when I questioned her about a birthday shirt. Thanks for starting my addiction.

Well I think game night was a HUGE success - final score

Julia - 1
Kevin - 1
the rest of us - 0

we were playing a 3rd game however Kevin and Julia both exhibited unsportsmanlike behavior and the game was suspended -

Kevin believed the answer on the card to be wrong and felt Julia was unfairly awarded 3 spaces - he continued in the game but wanted us to know it was under protest

shortly thereafter - Julia declared her 10 or so space lead was enough to declare herself the winner - (at the time Kevin was in 3rd place) so I will have say that the evening ended in a tie

Julia greeted Kevin at the door and said "You were talking trash to me Kevin!!!" :rotfl:

Alyssa and Nick slowly learned how to co-exist during the evening - Amy told Julia that as they got older we could have sleep overs - I turned to see Nick and Alyssa kissing and hugging  - so maybe no sleepovers!! :rotfl:

So glad you all got to have your game night! I"ll be there for round two .... but I don't trash talk very much, so tell Julia to take it easy on me! :rotfl:

I saw some brown children's warm-ups at our K-Mart a couple of days ago. They did not have many though. When my son was in a X'mas play I had to dye white ones and it actually came out real good. I used the Ritz die in the washing machine.

For shoes sometimes you can find house shoes that look like bear claws or that is what I think of when I see them.

Good luck. I am sure you will do a wonderful job with what ever you make.

Anyone play the Disney version of?
Monopoly, Life, Sorry & Trivia.
I love playing these games with DS.
We go back & forward with Trivia.
I always win on the old stuff.
He always wins on the new stuff.

We just got DIsney Monopoly and Sorry.... I love them! We have both disney trivias and those are my favorite!

We have Disney Monopoly and Trivia. We also have Disney chess/checkers. We play them all, but enjoy the Scene It most. We also have Disney Guesswords and Disney Charades. The charades is had for the kids. You've got to read the word then act it out. It will be more fun when they are all older.

Deb

We have those, too! And the music game (like name that tune). Is this totally sad since we have no kids?! :rotfl:

I am in Decatur. Do you know how far away you are? I am not sure where Helena is. I have heard of it though.

Actually - it wasn't Julia who was trash talking - she told Kevin they could both win - it was the 34 yo who started trash talking to a 4 yo!!!

Julie and Kate the T-shirts look great as did the kiddies in them. I love the disney plate.

Glad you all had a successful game night. Sounds like fun.

Now Kevin! :rotfl:

Ok, well then Amy -- keep Kevin in check. I REALLY don't know how well I'd take an adult trash talking ;)

I'm competetive enough, but I suppose I'm more the silent type.

Mostly because I hate to hear about it if I lose! :rotfl2:

Our apartment is empty! :teeth:

Can't walk around the house at all becasue of all the stuff.... and it will take me a million years to put it away in between interview trips...

...but we got a lot done this afternoon!

And what an exciting OSU vs Michigan game! :goodvibes
