Tammi - in word - there are two ways - either way - I would make your paper landscape -

you can make it a word art and make it as large as you want -

or type the word normal - highlight it - and where you choose the font size - you can type in any number you want - they only give the option up to 72 but you can type in 200 if you want - I would guess you want about 125 - if all else fails - PM me your email and what names you want

Haha! I did it. Thank you!

Hey all! DH and I just narrowed down our list of residency programs to the "official" 20.... the application is final in just a few hours!

If you want to check it out (any input welcome.... list can't change, but I'd love to hear about the cities!) you can find it here:

(Post #31).

back to work!
I would pick either Chapel Hill or St. Pete. I'm a southern girl so I am partial to the south. Plus in St. Pete you are closer to Mickey.

::yes:: My thoughts exactly!
Chapel Hill is such a wonderful area. No doubt you'd want to stay there when you're done!

And I live in Tampa right now :) Been here 3 1/2 months now. LOVE the sun, the warmth, the fact that the average high in January is 70.5º :sunny: And since I live on the east side of Tampa, that 70 minute trip door-to-door home-to-WDW ain't bad either! :teeth:

No idea about the programs, but can say that those two areas are great places to live!

Funny that you both said those two. Chapel Hill is beautiful and a great program.... but not big city enough for this girl, as far as I know now. :rolleyes: Also, St. Pete is another one of those we left on there "to give it a chance" .... seems to far away for both of us. You never know though.... really we have to just go and see for ourselves! Maybe we'll be surprised.

Jennifer,

I worked in Chapel Hill doing Medical Research. You CANNOT beat the Research Triangle for school and job opportunities. I am used to Atlanta, and I found that area AWESOME! Charlotte isn't too far with all the pro sports, it is beautiful, and you have 4 major college programs right there (Duke, UNC, NC State, and Wake Forest). Raleigh is a fantastic city, and it has tons of great social life, art, cultural. And UNC is one of the top in the country. I'd put it at the TOP of my list.

I have family that lives in Seffner, FL.....which is east of Tampa. Is that close to you??

:rotfl: Pro sports is how we narrowed down our ORIGINAL list! Lol.... that's NOT to say we picked our favorite teams, etc but we definitely wanted that around. I grew up in Chicago and Cincy and DH grew up in Nowheresville. It was so strange to me that he went to his first ballet, pro sporting event, etc as an adult! I want that kind of stuff around for my kids to experience as well. SO.... Chapel Hill actually didn't even make our list (nor did Baystate) because of that, but the faculty so highly recommended both, so..... they're back :) It's nice to hear from a city girl (my FAVORITE city, by the way) that it's not some small college town far from everything!

::yes:: Pretty close :)
I live in a newish planned development right outside the Brandon limits.
It's called FishHawk Ranch and the post office says we're in Lithia, but we're literally walking distance to the boundary line of Brandon.

That area is actually quite big because of the proximity of the 4 major schools. Raleigh is beautiful. It's a great area, and Charlotte about 2.5 hours away. I think it would be great for both of you for school. Good quality of life place.

You didn't have Emory on your list or anywhere here in Atlanta!

My Dad was born in Brandon!

I know... when DH originally started looking at medicine-pediatrics combined programs, he generated a list of every program in the country..... and the FIRST place I asked about was Atlanta. No programs in the entire state of Georgia :sad:

It's a fairly new program (I mean, maybe 20 years.... but compared to others...) and even newer in the national Match Program..... so I guess that's it. BELIEVE ME.... I have said since I was 12 that I was moving to Atlanta. Guess I"ll have to wait a few more years :rolleyes:

And I've had an idea :idea: :faint: Sorry if this has been suggested already (ehy, there are SOOOO many pages on this thread :blush: :guilty: ) but how about family bandanas for large groups? Obviously your display space is a bit more restricted, but might be more acceptable to stroppy teens who can tie up hair or tie them round their bags etc. so at least you could spot your distinctive colour. (OK now don't ALL pick lime green or it won't work..... :rolleyes1 )[/QUOTE]

Mazda,

Actually I had the idea of giving handkerchiefs or kerchiefs with the one of Midnite's designs. It was the one of Tinkerbell on the blue jar and the saying "Do You Believe?" So Steffy printed up the transfers, I ironed them on 20 :rotfl: and we gave them out to Cast members who really went far and above with Pixie Dust. In fact, I tried to fold two together with some glitter and left them for Fanny, our Mousekeeper. We came back that evening and she had folded them into a rolled towel making them look like eyes on a mask. We were really surprised :earboy2: If i ever can figure out how to post a picture, I will do it.

Bandanas are a GREAT idea! Good thinking!
