Gina, would you be able to put your mermaid princess on a lime green background with a light pink frame? would love to use it on a tiny tote for a little friend,,,has anyone ever ironed on a tote? anyone ever tie dyed a tote?

Here is a picture of the tote I did for my DS (Halloween bag).
I used a canvas bag.
I think a cloth bag would be easier to work with.
I would not wash it as it gets out of shape.
A real pain to iron the wringles out.
Other than that.
No problems just press down more when ironing.

It gives the shirts that added touch.
I think it was the coolest idea.

I live near Birmingham, AL. We are very fortunate. Lots of power outages and tree limbs around the area. It is very sad to see all of the evacuees around here from LA & MS. We are praying for them too.

Only problem is you have to minium order 1 dozen.
You can mix sizes & colors.

So glad to hear you are okay -

my parent's best friend's daughter lives in NO - they have a 4 year old (the same age as my Julia) and they evacuated on Saturday and have been told it will be at least 6 weeks before they can even think about going home - I couldn't even talk to her mom without crying

how do you explain that to a 4 year old - how do tell her she can't go home or see her toys - how does she ever recover from that - I just think about trying to explain something like this to Julia and I just can't - how do I explain to her that it is possible that a storm could come and take everything we have? she has seen the news and now she is petrified that a "tomato" (not too good at saying tornado yet) is going to come - which is what we were told to prepare for in Katrina's aftermath - she is ready to move into our basement!
