Macntosh your DD is so beautiful. I understand about people staring. While my oldest DD was going through 3 years of chemo. People would stare and point fingers. But, I think the worst was when parents would tell their kids to be quiet if they started asking questions about her. I would have just preferred to have the questions. My DD went to heaven 5 years ago but, I can still see and feel those incidents.
Again, thank you so much for sharing your stories.

I have heard of so many people saying they feel invisible or ignored because of their wheelchair or crutches. Is it wrong to do that? I was just trying to be friendly!

I made 21 total and here is a sampling of my favorites:

Here's for CRT (hopefully DH will wear the King Daddy one!)

Here are 2 for DS2- the one on the left is to wear on the plane and the one on the right is the family T so I made one for each of us.

The one on the left is for me to wear to Food & Wine fest in the evenings and the one on the left is wishful thinking that DS2 will actually sleep!
we tease him that he is "just doing that" lol. He is a love and an inspiration! At church he dances in his wheelchair by zooming it all over the place!
to all with CP and any other disability!PaulaSue said:LOVE the Princess Mommy one and matching themed ones!!!!

I was reading these boards and my ds2 comes running out wearing his first haircut Mickey ears from a previous trip and trying to stuff his blanket into a backpack. He announces that he is ready to go to Mickey's House now. It was just too cute. I think he may be the most excited and knowing how excited I am that is an amazing statement.
