so you put it in the oven with the pizza on? for a stonebaked bottom effect?

Edit: someone else already answered this, i see, and much more clearly :)

you can also do cookies, etc on them.... but i don't think i ever have

You got the paper off then? Hooray! Did you wash it?

I love the long white sleeved on under the black tee - it sets the design off really well.

Seeing these I think I'm going to be brave nd make mine this weekend... only 31 days to go until my trip!! :bounce:

Um, actually this picture is still WITH the wax :) Believe me, you can see it in person! I did wash it, and the paper mostly came off! Unfortunately, DH peeled up one edge of the design trying to peel the paper. grrr..... :rotfl:

All that for nothing!

I posted this on the other board but realized that hardly anyone ever goes there anymore! So, I put it on here too... :goodvibes

I redid our Haunted Mansion T shirts today and am delighted with them! I put a blue border around the main image

and then I made the fireworks design about 2.5 inches square and put it on the left shirt sleeve.

Now both DDs will have the design they liked best! :goodvibes

Thanks once again to all the wonderful designers who make this so much fun for us all  :love2:

Great Shirt Elin - I think the blue border really sets it off!

I also like the fireworks design on the sleeve, really cute alternative to a plain Mickey head.

Still waiting for my tie-dyes to "cook". Haven't even peeked once.

I already had an Ohana breakfast invite - so I changed the characters

Thank you! I had saved the last one ... I forget with layers, you can just take out characters etc. :) Thanks so much!

Triplefigs ~~~ what's the word? You know what they say, "this too shall pass ...."

J & N's Mom ~~~ such cute costumes you guys look SUPER!

rosiejo ~~~ Exactly right on the pizza stone. Tehere is a company here called pampered Chef- and they make AWESOME stoneware. It's not just pizza stones. I love making bar cookies or french fries in the bog rectangular one (with sides). And lucky you getting married at WDW -- have a grand time! :)

Shriva ~~~ OMG! I just noticed the animated graphic in your sig! It's SUPER fatastic! Now if only we could get stuff to move on t-shirts. Hmmmmmm

Did I read way back somewhere that some one used their ceramic top stove for the ironing? If so, did all go well?

What are you studying in postpartum? I worked that for years. If you have any questions, ask away. I will tell you one question that we all failed. What is required before a woman can have an epidural? You must run a full bag of fluid in beforehand to make sure she's hydrated and to allow the epidural meds to flow properly!
The nurse that I had when I had my first child must have failed this class! Luckily I was having a c-section and was already strapped to the table. I got so light-headed that I nearly passed out, until they gave me a shot of something in my IV. I remember them saying something about me not having enough fluids. Second time was much better.

Triplefigs - Hope everything is okay with DS

Tinker1bell and Steffy - welcome home. can't wait to hear about your trip

Tink2020 - great shirts!

That was me. I did a dress for DD's 4th bday and a T for her 5th. Both came out great! I followed the transfer directions to a T (ha ha), especially the part about putting a folded pillowcase under the shirt.

Her shirt didn't last longer than a day because it was part spandex, but I think I'll be able to re-iron it with the special paper that came with the transfer material.

Thanks! We like them too. :goodvibes

You have to post pictures as soon as your shirts are done cooking. I don't have the pateience to do the tie-dyes.

Come to think of it... I didn't have the patience back in the 60s either!

rosiejo...a Disney wedding..you lucky girl! You have to give us all the details! I'm getting excited for you!! :Pinkbounc

:cheer2: not long to go now! We're travelling with my parents and brother and his girlf and my DH2Bs brother and girlf. We have 10 nights in a villa hitting the parks.

We're getting married on the 15th at Sunset Pointe - then hopefully onto Artist's Pointe for dinner (if I can get a reservation for 8 people this late in the day!)

Then we have a SECRET wishes cruise... I tried to book illuminations but didn't get one and told my DH2B - we were both upset. I happened to post this on the weddings board and a TA that also posts there phoned up and secured me a wishes cruise :Pinkbounc so now everyone thinks we are heading to the beach at Wl to watch wishes but really that's where we board the boat

Then we go to the AKL for our honeymoon week and the rest of the family fly home to the UK leaving us in peace

It's gonna be great :cloud9:

The pizza stone retains the heat and cooks the pizza evenly. so you don't have burnt edges and raw center.

Thats what you want when transfering something that keeps the heat. one of the reasons they say not to use an ironing board is because it is made to not get as hot.. and you WANT it to get hot on both sides to get the best stick.

Aah I see - that's really clever! Wonder if I can buy one in england

I used my small corian cutting board and that worked great. Can you purchase anything like that? I am sure there is some stuff on the web you could buy. Oh and I hope you have a beautiful wedding. I wanted a Disney wedding so bad, but we decided not to. Looking back I would have rather spent the money on a small intimate wedding, than the big reception we threw!

This sounds so wonderful! Congrats on getting the SECRET Wishes cruise.... we won't tell anyone! Promise!! Which villas are you staying in? Are you changing resorts for your wedding nite?

our prof is NOTORIOUS for not getting our grades back to us for an eternity, and even then we don't see what we missed unless we schedule something with her..... in our spare time :)
Well, that's silly! How are you supposed to learn the RIGHT answers if she never tells you the ones you got wrong?!? :confused3 Silly prof!

Good luck on your test! Too bad triplefigs couldn't come and take it for you!

So I didn't realize Rosiejo was getting married at WDW - I think I know where and when our DDA meet should be!! ;) I have always wanted to go to a Disney wedding!!!
Great idea! We'll already be there that weekend :)
Rosiejo, you don't mind if a few hundred DDA show up do you? ;) SURELY you will have enough food! :rotfl:

Nah...but we will be there that weekend (already meeting some DIS friends Friday night :) ). If we see you in your dress, we'll be sure to point out "Cinderella and Prince Charming" to my DD (she thinks all brides are Cindy!)! Hope you have a FANTASTIC wedding!

The photos in your sig are gorgeous - looks like a great day.

I do have a wooden chopping board that may be ok - I'm going to have a go this weekend :goodvibes

::sssh:: I can't believe I've kept it a secret for DH2b so far - I hope I can keep quiet until the night - I can't wait to see his face

We're staying in the villas of somerset in kissimmee and then moving to the AKL the night before the wedding - well I am - Dh2b is staying in villa - can't see me on the am of the wedding after all! We'll then stay at the AKL for the week. We're so excited - never stayed on property before and we fell in love with the AKL when we snuck in there for breakfast on our last trip

Thanks! Those are my favorite pictures. We have one of these at home and I LOVE IT!! Dh's grandma gave it to me for Christmas. We can cut anything on it and it withstands high temps.

:rotfl: how funny would that be! We only have enough cake for 8 though... :rolleyes1

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the DDA tees and Kate dressed as Mrs Potts - if you do spot me remember to :wave2:
