Disney Descendents

I didn't like Maleficent either... but I understand that won't be a popular opinion and is just because I don't like her voice. I know she sings well... I just perfer to listen to others.

Agree that Dove stole the show. I liked Mitchell Hope in the movie as well.. I also loved that Belle and Beast were in charge, not Cinderella or Snow White :).

My husband and I think next they are going to make a second one where one of the "good" kids go evil and everyone has to deal with the idea that Auradon even with the Isle of the Lost won't necessarily always be free from someone evil.
I did love the Belle and The Beast were in charge. That was a nice touch. I really love your idea for the sequel. I think that would make for a great movie.

I just saw that there will be animated shorts. And of course they are advertising dolls.

The whole Snow White as a ditzy red carpet announcer? Really?

They had me and DD (6) at the Rotten to the Core song, that was really cute, however, I lost it after seeing Audrey, (Sleeping Beauty's daughter) and what a brat she was... I get what they were trying to do, but the "good kids" didn't have to be that dreadful to watch. They ended it very oddly also. Soo many directions this could have gone and it didn't go to any of those!

I haven't watch it yet but I prefer seeing Disney princess pets with villains pets.

It was a cute movie.it gave me a laugh and I watched it with my niece.

The things I didn't like
1. let's be honest the villains were fang-less...Pathetic shadows of their former selves. What respecting villain wants their kids to do their dirty work.
2. Beast throwing stones - hello did you forget you were a big hairy thing before belle saved you?
3. I also kind of forgot who was a villain and who was good? Some of the "hero's" kids weren't exactly nice either. At one point I commented out loud which ones are the villains again? Then I remember it was a high school enough said.

What I liked.
1. The dancing and musical numbers.
2. The villain's kids :)
3. Belle

It was alright I enjoyed high school musical and camp rock more...casting for the villans I felt was a bit off

I actually loved it. I didn't expect to at all, but the characters were ADORABLE and the songs were fun and catchy. Plus, THEIR WARDROBES!!

It wasn't for me but I'm not the target audience. The concept of the descendants of the classic heroes and villains had so much potential but a modern high school wasn't the right direction (IMO) and the least said about what they did to the villains the better.

Plus - why is Beast's son being crowned King? His dad is still alive and they said Belle and Beast were elected so surely if their term is at an end the next king would be elected not their son? But that's probably more thought than went into writing the script (certainly more than the names!)

MY son (4) is obsessed with it. I could take or leave it. I think they could have done this so much better, but I guess I'm not the target market.
