And it looks like you would have to have a Chase checking account to link it to.

But if you want it for the other perks, I guess it's worth the effort of applying for it. I already have the regular Disney Visa and until they change the rewards offered on it, I see no reason to change.

I just checked and it says it is not available in my area. We do not use credit cards so this would be perfect for us. Oh well, it was a nice thought anyway.

I currently have the rewards card as well. I am guessing we will eventually have the option of this card or the premier rewards one.

I have the Premier Visa and never use my Chase debit card since I put everything on the Visa to earn the reward dollars and then just pay the card from my account.

I switched over the the Disney Visa Debit anyway - can never have too much Disney in my wallet!

Great! I enjoyed the perks the debit previously offered even though it took forever and day to earn the reward points. Im happy to be able to continue to get the park perks without a fee!! Plus just in time as my old disney debit is about to expire!!

Stopped by the bank today and banker said it was just launched this week! I'm happy having it just for the design instead of the regular dull blue card, my DH has the Bears logo on his

I still have my previous Disney Debit card and it was due to expire next year and I was dreading not being able to have my disney design. Problem solved!

The ladies at the bank told DH about this last week. They know we are Disney nuts.

I'll have to get our account switched over since we don't earn any rewards on the regular accts anymore either.

Can you only order over he phone and in person? I'm not seeing anywhere to register online? Also are there credit requirements or if I already have a chase checking account I just attach it? Thanks!

When i tried to do it over the phone, they would have made my current debit card inactive. Which is a pain. But I went to my local branch and once I receive the Disney debit I just have to call my banker and he will activate the Disney debit and deactivate my chase card hth!

The girl tried to tell me that on the phone too, until I insisted that it had never been that way before. It was just a miscommunication -- she thought I meant to keep my same number, but I didn't care about that. So mine is on its way, and when it's activated then the old one will be deactivated.

I use my debit card for pretty much everything, and have had the Disney one since its debut. I was SO sad when they discontinued it, and have refused to get rid of my cute Disney card this whole time. I still get comments on it every day. Can't wait to get the new one, and get park perks again!

I never even use my debit card - I use my Visa for everything and then just pay from my account to earn the reward dollars - but I like the idea of having another awesome Disney card in my wallet!
