We arrived last night...late at about 10 pm... and checked in at Cypress Point Resort. It is beautiful!!! We got a great villa. Rm 4202A. It is right above the volcano pool area... we just walk down the steps and we're there!!! Can't beat that! And we haven't heard any noise from the pool yet, so the noise hasn't been an issue.
We went to Disney MGM today for SWW. It was packed, but fun. We saw the parade, met Darth Vader, rode SW, and met various other SW folks. My DS is the SW fan, and he was excited to meet them, but I wasn't sure who they all wre!!! LOL!!! Then we saw the muppets, and wandered around a bit. We planned on seeing the action, motor, stunt show, but when we arrived, the show had been cancelled. So we will try later in the week.
Then we hopped to Epcot. We had lunch in the American pavilion then headed around WS. We stopped in the Mexico pavilion to ride El Rio De Tiempo, the headed to FW. We walked right onto MS, and rode the less intense side. It was alot of fun. I have been on it before the change, and this way is just as fun. We went to Eleens Energy Adventure, which we love, and got right on at the beginning of the show. Then we rode SE...walked on. Then went to Soarin... there were no FP's left and a 2 1/2 hr wait in standby!!!!!! We passed. We will try it later in the week, but we have ridden it many times at California Adventure, so no biggie if we can't. So we went to the imagination ride, then left the park. We ate at a buffet and right now I am at the volcano pool!!!!
All in all we had a great day. It got pretty hot, and both parks were pretty packed, but we had little or no waits on everything. Of course we skipped Soarin. We will be at MK tomorrow, so hopefully it will not be super packed!!!! We have an ADR for CP, and we are looking forward to that!!!
My whole family noticed today that ALOT of people were being SO RUDE!!!! Not the CM's..they were great! But the guests were pushing/shoving and just plain rude. Maybe tomorrow will be less crowded, so people will be nicer!!!!
