Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

Lisa, so sorry to hear about all this. I can't even imagine anyone trying to deal with all this at 100% tip top peak shape, so I can only guess how hard this must be on y'all. Sending hugs and prayers your way, and if there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

Oh no LISA! I am sorry to hear this...As you know, the same thing happened to me last year and I was devastated, ( understatement) We had a Disney trip planned 3 weeks later and we still went but I was very unsure...

Unemployment is such a pain in the you know where. It is so ridiculous how hard they make it on you but other people sit at home 24/7, don't try and it gets handed right to them.. UGH!!!

I thought it was the worst thing ever but now a year later, it was a blessing in disguise! <3 XOXO, BIG HUGS TO YOU FROM YOUR SOUTH CAROLINA FRIEND!!

So sorry to hear this! Dealing with unemployment offices can be a real pain in the tushie. And dealing with medication changes on top of it? Really not fun.

Lisa, sweetie, I am so sorry to hear this. I did not see it on Facebook and wish I had known.

Mark hasn't gone to file for his unemployment yet (waiting until after our trip) and I am fearful of the same. I think it will be best if he goes in person.

I'm sorry John is stressing out and now the doctor has changed his routine.

I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

Hi Lisa- I am so sorry to hear about this. I want you to know I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. :grouphug:

Oh, Lisa- thinking of you and your family and sending the most positive energy I can your way! I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Please keep us posted when you can.

I'm so sorry Lisa! That really sucks. I can certainly sympathize about the unemployment mess since I dealt with it last year. Impossible to talk to someone, takes forever and you get almost nothing in actual money anyway. :sad2: I hope he is back to work very soon so you guys can stop stressing out.

Thank you Stephanie! It's been a stressful time for sure.

Thank you! More phone calls were made and more disconnected calls. Sooo frustrating! I'll take all the hugs and prayers that we can get.

Thank you! I agree with you 100%...I don't understand how we can work out behinds off and not get a thing yet those who sit and do nothing get $.

Darla, thank you so much! Unfortunately, we won't know if the medication change is working or if he'll still have problems due to the new stress. Only time will tell.

Kathy, I posted it and then took it down soon thereafter because we have some busy bodies in the family. Didn't want them to know our business. It was one of my grateful posts.

If you have a local office, I'd suggest going there to file. Our local office can do nothing for you which is stupid. Why have it then? We have to either file online or by phone with an automated system.

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you so very much! I'll take all of the positive thoughs and prayers because I know they work.

Duplicate Post- DIS is wonky this week!

It was acting wonky on me too.

Thanks Dee! It's been stressful to say the least.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you! Please keep us in your prayers!

Will send positive thoughts and prayers your way in hopes you will get some good news soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I know just how tough it can be dealing with employment insurance and the headaches associated. I hope he gets back to work and the situation resolved very soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

If we are friends on Facebook, you may have seen one of my posts that I deleted shortly thereafter because of nosey roseys...John was laid off, without any kind of notice, I might add, for what they said was supposed to be two weeks. Today is the two week mark and there's still no word on when he is to return to work. Maybe next week, maybe two more weeks, "we're not sure".

Oh no! That's awful! And no warning whatsoever? I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I'm sure it's stressful and aggravating.

Praying that you would make wise decisions and receive the guidance you need.

Thank you so much! If we knew when he was supposed to go back, that would relieve a lot of the stress.

Thank you for the prayers! They gave us no warning whatsoever. There was a major screw up on the ordering of custom made materials and they are at least two weeks behind on order and receiving.

Coming our of lurkdkom to say how sorry I am that you are going through this. Unemployment stuff is such a hassle - and the uncertainty of when he'll be back and whether the medication changes are working properly! Uggh!!
((Hugs))

Thank you! It means a lot that you came out of lurkdom to post the kind words.

Oh Lisa I am so sorry to hear John got laid off! In 2012 I was laid off from my job of 8 years (I started at 14) and ended up being laid off 9 months, from October to May! I pray that his is nowhere near as long. I was shocked by how smoothly my unemployment process went, but now I'm dealing with a healthcare company that keeps screwing up on their end and blaming me!

Hopefully things get all sorted out soon for you!

Lisa I'm so sorry to hear all this. I'll be praying for you and your family. Hopefully something with the unemployment will get going soon.

I am a firm believer that good things happen to good people, so you and John are in for a heaping of good coming your way soon! You are most definitely in my prayers!!

And you are so right Unemployment is not fun!!:furious::furious::furious:

I am so sorry. My husband was unemployed for 5 months last year, starting right before Christmas. It was rough, I know how you feel. Luckily, once you get the unemployment ball rolling, we didn't have any other problems. It's just getting things started that sucks, at least here.
