Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

No pizzzzzzzza? NOOOOOOOO! Just kidding! The roasted potatoes and schnitzels sound really good. Hunter loves him some rotisserie chicken too. I have a weird question for you. Even though we are super outgoing and not at all shy, we don't care too much for sharing tables with strangers. Does it feel odd eating with all those other people?

I guess it can be weird but the food is worth it to us. It doesn't bother me though, I have been on a bunch of cruises and it used to be the norm that they would sit you at a table with other people so I got used to it then. Most people just keep to themselves I think, so you should be ok.

In 2010 Tim and I went alone and we were seated with 3 other couples, 2 couples were a group and the other couple was across from up, the group of 4 kept to themselves and we chatted here and there with the couple across from us, so it was nice, they were our age, but crazy tattooed and pierced :scared1: they were nice, though so it was a pleasant dinner.

So glad to hear your SIL is doing well and coming home, I hope your mom gets some answers soon. So glad the little baby will be ok too.

Glad Mama's test went well, and they didn't have to put her fully into the MRI machine. Hopefully she gets a good report.

So glad to hear SIL was discharged and is coming home.

Wonderful to hear that the baby got a good report, too!

Such a great update! I love the Mexico pavilion. It's up there with my favorites. I've got a handmade pitcher from there that I love.

OMG that covered scooter made me laugh so loud. The first thing I thought was that it was "Look, the Pope is at Disney!" That contraption is a bit excessive. I bet they saw it in Pinterest and thought it was the best idea ever! Haha!

I hope the test results for your mom come back ok or at least give you answers. It's so frustrating when you are in the dark about medical issues.

thanks for all the pictures of the Mexican marketplace. since it's too dark in there for Nebo to see anything, we just walk straight through to the ride,. maybe next time I'll sit him in the margarita bar and walk around a bit;).

I love the painted animals. but I'm afraid I'll be tempted to buy something. esp Jewelry, I love earrings

don'
t you just love it when people let their kids do anything they want? gggrrr...

oh, gotta try that mac and cheese burger. but I do agree with you. not a big fanof chicken fingers (tenders, nuggets, whatever) but the ones at disney ar really good!

I have gotten behind. So sorry your mom had to go through all those test. I'll be praying that you get good results soon. And I'll be praying for a good recovery for your sister in law.

We took a mid day break on our Epcot day so we completely missed the rain that day, our other Epcot day we got soaked. I love the info you got from the girl the booth. My kids love that booth but I don't let them get to close. I'm always afraid my kids are going to break something.

Glad to hear that good news has come in for your SIL and the baby. :thumbsup2 Still sending prayers & pixie dust that your mom will get her results soon & they will be good as well. :goodvibes

Prayers going up for your mama in hopes that all of her tests come back GREAT! :thumbsup2

So glad to hear that your SIL seems to be doing better and the sweet little baby, too!

Cute pic of Hunter taking a selfie with Donald.

Have to comment on Biergarten...we were seated with a group 5 and they pretty much kept to themselves. We had a nice brief chat at the end of the meal while they were waiting to settle their tab. I am usually very shy, but was actually hoping for more interaction with our table mates. I am a VERY picky eater yet managed to fill up on plenty.

Hi Lisa, loving your trip report as always!

Praying for your mama and sil. And thankful that the little baby and his parents got some good news!

Wow Hunter just continues to grow!

Prayers are still with you and your family. as always and also the baby!

Thank you!

Same here. we are a close nit family.

yes your titles are a dang riot!!! Love it all! I agree anything that is photo-able is going up on something!!!! :lmao:

Sometimes, I will give them a warning...this is going on the trip report or on Facebook. But, it's always an unspoken rule so they can like it or lump it.

Looks like a fun TR!! :cool1:

Going back to read!! :goodvibes

Thank you! So glad to have you here. Please feel free to post as much as you'd like. We're a friendly bunch.

Lisa, I had a whole long reply typed up last night, and then fat fingered something and the whole thing went POOF! :headache: I was about to leave work, so I didn't have time to retype it. Anywho... great to hear the good reports on your mama and sister-in-law. :goodvibes

Don't you just hate it when that happens? I've done it more times than I can or want to count.

That Mac and Cheese Bacon Burger does look good. Disney has a new obsession with Mac and Cheese and Bacon, it seems. There is a hot dog with bacon mac and cheese somewhere over in HS, too. It all makes me think of Cliff and Theo Huxtable's favorite treat on Cosby Show..the BACON BURGER DOG!!! I have always wondered what the heck that was! :confused3 :rotfl2:

I remember the Huxtable obsession now that you mention it! I love that show!

That covered scooter made me laugh so hard...that is unreal. :rotfl: And what's even worse, in my opinion, is that the driver was probably up walking around somewhere, which made it completely unnecessary. :sad2:

Everybody was looking around trying to find the driver. We saw them going up the walkway/ramp to the exit but I didn't see them get into the scooter.

Love Hunter's silliness. Y'all must be the most fun to hang with! :thumbsup2

We like to think so. ;)

I know how sad you will be to see Lacey and Jesse leave. My mom is always really sad for a day or two when we leave. :sad1: Knowing when the next time you will see each other will be helps, though! :goodvibes

It was so nice having them here and, like you said, we know that we'll be seeing them at Thanksgiving so it made it a little easier to send them off this morning.

Your updates are fantastic, as usual, you and your family have many fans!

Still, I am more happy about the updates to your family's health and I am hoping to hear good news about your mother soon. She is an inspiration to us all from last year's report! I hope to have her strength and stamina.

I have made so many friends on the Disboards over the years! It's so nice to share our love for Disney and not have anybody roll their eyes at you.

Mama is one tough chicky even at the age of 80. I hope that I am able to do half of what she can do when I am her age.

Following too.
It's been years.
You know the saying,
"Careful what you wish for".
Just been TR "overload".

OMG, you need to stalk Brett Favre. I hear he likes to cut his own grass.

Welcome! Welcome!

I didn't even realize that he lived in Hattiesburg. I'll be sure to look out for him next time we got through.

Prayers going up for you and yours! Hope everything works out well.

Thank you so much!

Glad to hear that your family was coming for a visit. I love when mine show up. I have my 2 grandsons for a few days. Spoiling time! ::yes::

I can only imagine what a softy I will be when I have grandkids. I spoil the crap out of my own kids and I'm sure I'll go broke when the grands come along.

The bacon mac & cheese burger...it did have a burger with it right? LOL I stared at it and could not find one unless that was it on the very right side of the pic?

I didn't even notice that you couldn't see the burget patty. It did have one.

That EVC...holy kaka! :lmao: I have never seen anything like it.

Wasn't it a beauty?

Yeah for Donald. It does not happen often that they all of the sudden just show up and ya gotta love it when they do.

I'm sure that they brought him in because it was raining and we just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

People that don't watch or care about what their kids do...Urgh, I hate that!

They sure don't! It makes me so mad.

Glad to hear your SIL is doing well.

They made it home last nighta round midnight.

I hope your Mama gets and equally good report soon. Poor thing, being such a worry wart. I am the same way, so I can sympathize.

I told her to call the doctor if she hadn't heard anything by lunch time. No need for her to worry any longer than necessary.

Glad to hear the baby is alright too.

I was happy to hear it too. Their other son who is 3 has autism so they are already stretched.

And I'm sorry your visit with Lacey and Jesse is almost over, but so glad you had a nice visit with them.

They left this morning. Thank goodness we have a trip to Tennessee planned. Otherwise, I'd be a sobbing mess right now.

Late to commenting.

Glad John started feeling better. My dd has epilepsy, but she doesn't have any warning signs, plus her's are kinda odd. When we can get back on our feet we want to get back to Disney, but worry about how she would handle things. It's reassuring reading about how John does even though he is older.

Continued Prayers for your Mama, SIL and Lacy's friends baby.

I always enjoy seeing what Hunter is up to. When your met with KatMark popped up on Facebook I commented where is Hunter something about shouldn't he be photobombing the group shot. Then his selfie popped up with the group in the background. Got a good chuckle out of it. :) I would love to travel with your group you guys have such a good time.

I guess it can be weird but the food is worth it to us. It doesn't bother me though, I have been on a bunch of cruises and it used to be the norm that they would sit you at a table with other people so I got used to it then. Most people just keep to themselves I think, so you should be ok.

I wouldn't mind it nor would Hunter but John's not a big fan of it.

You mean you don't have a lot of tattoos and piercings that you could have compared? Seriously, it sounds like the other guests will talk with and if they want and stick to themselves if they want.

So glad to hear your SIL is doing well and coming home, I hope your mom gets some answers soon. So glad the little baby will be ok too.

I told Mama to call the doctor's office at lunch time if she hadn't heard from them yet. She worries so much that it'd be nice if she heard sooner rather than later.

Glad Mama's test went well, and they didn't have to put her fully into the MRI machine. Hopefully she gets a good report.

So glad to hear SIL was discharged and is coming home.

Wonderful to hear that the baby got a good report, too!

Mama is so terribly claustrophobic so I was glad when Lacey called to say that they only had to do the MRI from the shoulders up.

I haven't talked to my sister in law this morning but we sent several texts last night and they were in Atlanta waiting for their next fight.

The baby's surgery will be further down the line but they did get a good report.

Such a great update! I love the Mexico pavilion. It's up there with my favorites. I've got a handmade pitcher from there that I love.

I always say that I'm going to buy something in Mexico but for the most part, I come home empty handed.

OMG that covered scooter made me laugh so loud. The first thing I thought was that it was "Look, the Pope is at Disney!" That contraption is a bit excessive. I bet they saw it in Pinterest and thought it was the best idea ever! Haha!

Oh my gosh! I have got to tell John and Hunter what you said about the Pope. They'll think that it's hilarious!

I hope the test results for your mom come back ok or at least give you answers. It's so frustrating when you are in the dark about medical issues.

The waiting is the hardest part for sure.

Great updates, Lisa.

You know, I know that secret path is there and always forget to take it (it ends up at the Odyssey which used to be a restaurant and had a show with Mickey and gang.

Sorry to hear about the rain. I bet that is when we were in Canada watching O Canada. I thought it would never stop.

Thank you for sharing the story about the cared animals and the painting that goes into it. We really all should take a bit more time to check these and other things out.

I was:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: with Hunter's selfie with Donald Duck. That boy just cracks me up.

Keeping good thoughts and prayers going for your mom; good to hear about your SIL and good to hear on the baby.

thanks for all the pictures of the Mexican marketplace. since it's too dark in there for Nebo to see anything, we just walk straight through to the ride,. maybe next time I'll sit him in the margarita bar and walk around a bit;).

It is quite dark in the Mexico pavilion. Mama sometimes had trouble adjusting to the light. If it's raining, don't plan on sittin' Nebo at the bar. The line was out the door.

I love the painted animals. but I'm afraid I'll be tempted to buy something. esp Jewelry, I love earrings

You sound like my mother and I. We are jewelry lovers all the way...especially earrings.

don'
t you just love it when people let their kids do anything they want? gggrrr...

The kids were climbing over everything and the parents were just telling them not to run into each other. No regard whatsoever for the merchandise.

oh, gotta try that mac and cheese burger. but I do agree with you. not a big fanof chicken fingers (tenders, nuggets, whatever) but the ones at disney ar really good!

I very rarely order chicken nuggets except for Chick Fil A and I don't go there very often.

I have gotten behind. So sorry your mom had to go through all those test. I'll be praying that you get good results soon. And I'll be praying for a good recovery for your sister in law.

Girl, I seem to be behind all the dang time. Thank you so very much for the prayers.

We took a mid day break on our Epcot day so we completely missed the rain that day, our other Epcot day we got soaked. I love the info you got from the girl the booth. My kids love that booth but I don't let them get to close. I'm always afraid my kids are going to break something.

From the looks of things when we came out, it rained cats and dogs! It's a good thing that you took that break, otherwise, you would have been caught in the storm.

Glad to hear that good news has come in for your SIL and the baby. :thumbsup2 Still sending prayers & pixie dust that your mom will get her results soon & they will be good as well. :goodvibes

Thank you so very much! Hope that Mama hears something soon.

Prayers going up for your mama in hopes that all of her tests come back GREAT! :thumbsup2

So glad to hear that your SIL seems to be doing better and the sweet little baby, too!

Thank you! My sister in law is home and recovering. I haven't spoken with her today but plan to this evening.

Cute pic of Hunter taking a selfie with Donald.

I am usually very shy, but was actually hoping for more interaction with our table mates. I am a VERY picky eater yet managed to fill up on plenty.

Hunter is the master of selfies. Having those long arms helps. ;)

Thank you so much for your opinion on Biergarten. We usually only eat at Epcot twice but I'm thinking we'll add a third day there next trip and Biergarten was one of the restaurants that we thought about trying.

Hi Lisa, loving your trip report as always!

Praying for your mama and sil. And thankful that the little baby and his parents got some good news!

Wow Hunter just continues to grow!

I'm glad that you are enjoying our adventures!

I appreciate the prayers, I really do!

Hunter just keeps getting taller and taller. My grandfather and John's grandfather were both well over 6 feet so the genes are there.

It's extremely tough living with epilepsy and I can only imagine how stressful it is seeing your daughter having to deal with it. Hopefully, one day, they'll find just the right medication that will actually control the seizures enough that she will have the warning signs. John used to have no signals/warning signs at all.

Continued Prayers for your Mama, SIL and Lacy's friends baby.

Thank you!

Oh you know that Hunter had to get in on the action! That boy always seems to be wherever the action is.

Great updates, Lisa.

You know, I know that secret path is there and always forget to take it (it ends up at the Odyssey which used to be a restaurant and had a show with Mickey and gang.

That's the name of the building! I couldn't remember it for the life of me!

Sorry to hear about the rain. I bet that is when we were in Canada watching O Canada. I thought it would never stop.

You know what? We never heard a single solitary hint of the storm that blew through. Mexico must be extremely sound proof. Of course, there were a few noisy people in the pavilion so it probably blocked it out.

Thank you for sharing the story about the cared animals and the painting that goes into it. We really all should take a bit more time to check these and other things out.

The young woman was really quite interesting. John loved talking to her.

I was:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: with Hunter's selfie with Donald Duck. That boy just cracks me up.

Ain't he just the craziest thing ever?

Keeping good thoughts and prayers going for your mom; good to hear about your SIL and good to hear on the baby.

Thank you so much, Kathy!

I love the secret path! It's always the one we take out of Test Track to go into World Showcase....

I love EPCOT...you did such a great job updating and making me want to go back!

Gosh a lot is going on...I am glad it sounds like your SIL will be doing better and prayers for your whole family and loved ones.

I think the macoroni and cheese burger sounds gross. :rotfl: But I am not a fan of Disney Mac and cheese anyways. They used to have some really good stuff about 15 years or so ago and then they changed it. But I am weird and pretty much only like kraft from a box...you know with that wonderful powder cheese product. :lmao:

The Mexican Pavillion actually sounded fun and very interesting.

You. Found. Donald! :cheer2: He is after-all, my HERO! Hard guy to find most visits. You are managing the impossible, every time i read another update i get MORE EXCITED! Our tirp is also gonna be a leisurely one so we are planning on doing all the stuff we normally rush past.

Glad to hear the good health reports in your world :thumbsup2

interesting that you comment about how much you're kids enjoy your company, all 4 of ours (the 2 i gave birth to and the 2 i "inherited") often need to be "forced" to leave when a visit comes to the end! In fact, the "newest addition" to our family updated her FB status to say "men are idiots, except for your dad" We just made plans this week to take our daughter to a Sandcastle Building Contest next weekend and then 2 weeks later going to visit our son & his wiff and Em has told us she is coming with so she doesn't miss out on any of the fun :rotfl2:
