Disney Cuts After Hours Event Price for Passholders

Disney just announced that they will be offering a 50% discount for pass holders for a Disney After Hours event ticket, bringing the price to just $75. I definitely would take advantage of it at that price, so I guess I'm turning on you guys. Sorry!

This makes a lot of sense to me simply because AP holders could have gotten in on the first few included hours. Now they will see the 3 hours instead of 6-7 at 75 so only 25 extra an hour. With no discount it just made no sense for AP since they were double paying.

Just wondering do AP holders get a discount on the holiday parties?

Call and ask for refund? Worth trying, worst they can do is say no.

do you have your voucher? if so your mde should already be annual passholder.

no i have 9 day base tickets i decided after buying them to upgrade to an annual pass. wonder if i pay full price if they will refund the difference when i pick up my pass. i also wonder if this will make them busier and me not want to go after all? lol

According to this, right now you have to call or go in person to ticket window.

I think $75 is a much more reasonable. Should have been that price all along to everyone. I'm still going to pass. My family prefers the shows to the rides.

I picked up 2 more tickets for MAy 19th...

Some info since it's a long hold:
- you can't get money back from a previous ticket as the deal only came out today..
- it's will call only, you need to show your passholder card and id to pick them up.
- you can pick them up early if you happy to be at the parks prior.
- on 4/21 I used will call when ordering online, they appeared in MDE and I was able to just scan a magicband at the entrance to get in.
- you can link the phone tickets to your mde via the confirmation number and assign them to people so you can probably skip the will call line.

That makes it much more reasonable. If the dates are extended into June, I'll definitely be getting tickets!

Why would anyone pay retail, now?

Id offer them Olive Garden gift cards and "magic" beans for some tickets.
