Ok, so I've done the world, now I want the sea, and am serious trip planning mose(withdrawal symptoms of 5 months with no visit or prospect of one)!!! Anyway, considering the cruise for next Feb. Has anyone done this? Did you book through UK travel agent or independently? With the $:£ as it is I'm seriously considering booking direct. Any views? Gosh, lots of questions I know, but my only experience of a cruise was more like an overnight ferry (Cyprus - Egypt (if you've ever done it you'd know))!!!

Thanks in advance (I know you are always sooo helpful):boat: :boat:

Hi
We have done 3 Magic (7 day) cruises and are booked to go again in August. We have always booked through Transolar and had an excellent deal but with the £ being so strong booking through a US company like DREAMS may be better.
You will love the ships - they are gorgeous!

We are going on a 3 night Wonder cruise and booked with Dreams. At the moment we are waiting as long as we have got the nerve to wait before paying it off. As we costed it based on the exchange rate at the time we booked which was 1.57 I think then the current rate is making it quite a bit cheaper than we first thought.

We can't wait for our cruise, it is the last few days of our 3 week Florida hol so should be a nice way to calm things down after taking on all Orlando has to offer.

Regards

I've done 3 Disney cruises - two were thru Dreams, the third was a special DVC event that I used points for. With the currency exchange as it is - I would definitely book in Dollars!!!!

The cruises are just wonderful though - you will love them (I actually think I am addicted now ;) ), of that I'm sure - are you looking at the 3/4 night Wonder or going for the Eastern/Western Magic?

DD will be 5 when we go, so are thinking 3 or 4 days. I can't think of anything worse than doing 7 days with a cranky or seasick 5 year old, especiallyy as she's never even been on a ferry before!
Is there any real difference between the two cruises except the day at sea?
