Disney Cruise

Anyone going on the Feb 21st Disney Magic, Western Caribean??? We are so excited!
One thing we are a little nervous on is the dinning arangements. My partner and I are not the most outgoing people, and he is especially shy. Advice? Ideas? Support?

DH & I have done 3 DCL's in the last 4 years and are planning to go on the 2009 Member Cruise (which we've not done before). We love the way we're treated by both cast and guests! Many guests went out of their way to comment on our tuxedos or to ask us if we we getting married on these cruises! We made a lot of friends with our straight brethren.

We also felt we had more in common with the straight crowd there as most of us were DVC members (and wore pins to make it obvious). DVC can make quite a powerful sorority. Use it as an ice-breaker if you're uncomfortable!

As for the dinner seating, they will put you "mostly adults" if you don't have children (assuming you don't, forgive me if I am wrong). That would mean you'd probably share a table for 4 with another adult couple. We've always brought along my in-laws to cover the other 2 seats - but this coming 2009 DCL we're not going to. We feel that everyone has been very good to us on past trips.

Have fun with your DCL trip! The Western Caribbean 7-nighter was our favourite itineary on DCL!
