Disney Cruise Line!

My DH and I have been talking and we are trying to plan a Disney Cruise for our 1st year anniversary!! Yes, it's 11 months away, but I'm excited anyway! We are hoping we can pay off the wedding, so we can actually make it happen! We are working hard to get the debt down! Has anyone been on a Disney Crusie? Which one? How was it, etc? I would love some information! I've only looked on the website for info, so I'd love some input! If anyone had pics that would be great to or if you celebrated a special occasion while on board!

I am surprising my DF with a 3-day DCL cruise at the end of our WDW trip. Neither of us have ever been on a cruise before, and I did a lot of research before finally booking it.

The DCL forums here on the DIS are GREAT! I would highly recommend checking it out. Everyone is super helpful and they LOVE DCL.

I booked through Dreams Unlimited and was treated wonderfully by them. They are also able to secure a bit of a discount on certain dates and cruises versus going through Disney directly because they buy cabins in bulk.

I booked our January cruise in March, so I don't think it is ever too early to start planning a trip!

Oh, how wonderful! I was looking into booking it through somewhere else other than Disney...can you give me more ifo. about Dreams Unlimited and how much you saved? I need to save as much money as possible, since we're still paying off our wedding and honeymoon!

HEY it is FLIP FLOP bride and groom !!!!!! I just want to add that if you are trying to get the wedding all paid off...I would start out slowly with maybe a 3-DAY WONDER cruise planning that a on or about on your Anniversary date. DH & I just did the land and sea package giving us 3 days on the Wonder and that was for our 25th W.A.!!!! We had 4 days at Animal Kingdom Lodge and 3 days at sea !!! We loved the sea soooo incredibly much, we re-booked for next Feb while on the Wonder. This was our first ever cruise (why we ever waited, I have no idea)! Anyway, look into prices for 3 day and 4 day Wonder and as the years go on and on, work yourselves up to a 7 day cruise. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Ohhh...and yes, I do love those flip flops...just so unique!!!

Hi! That's so funny the..."Wicked Cool!" My DH is from Rhode Island and says "Wicked" all the time, but it doesn't work so well down South! Haha..he'd be cracking up if he saw that! He never even wore flip flops until he moved down South and met me! I made him cool! He still can't believe he never wore flip flops and then there he was on his wedding day in a pair! Everyone loved it! I like a flip flop man!
