Disney Cruise line Music

Hey everyone!!

I am currently trying to make a new playlist for our car, and trying to come up with songs that make us remember our time onboard our past cruises. I wish DCL would release a CD with the deck party soundtracks and the music from the shows onboard.

So far its a combination of the Sailing Away party soundtrack, pirate music and some of the party music they play up on deck during the Sailing Away party.

Wanted to see what other songs people think of when sailing on DCL, what songs people remember hearing whilst onboard and any other songs or music that when you hear remind you of cruising

Somewhere, down by the Sea Bobby Darren. I think the Fantasy and maybe all of the them play a eclectic mix of ship board music from big bands to jazz to modern. I know Ive heard several big band era songs while walking around the atrium or the ship in general.

Im with you, I wish they would release not only the ship board music, but the songs from the shows also.

i still remember the updated version (now old, too...but not as old as frankie ford's) "sea cruise"...i was advised (last week) to check youtube videos (recent) for some playlist suggestions when I posed a similar query...I will be watching responses to you, too!

I am making a playlist for our car ride to the Fantasy now.

Beyond the sea - the Nemo version. There is so much Nemo reminders on the Dream/Fantasy that we put that song on our list.

Also have some Jimmy Buffet (I remember eating lunch in Cabanas and they had Margaritaville's playing). So we have that song, Changes in Lattitude, Cheesebuger in Paradise (reminds us of castatway cay BBQ), and a whole bunch of his other songs.

We have one other song we downloaded only because my little one sings it - Cruise by Florida Georgia Line- she says she will sing the chorus once she sees the ship from our car. (I won't tell her that it actually means cruising in a car, not a ship).

Does any know also know the name of the violinist, she has been on the Dream recently, I can't find a photo, but she was amazing, she played so many great Disney songs, such a talent.!!!

I just got off the Dream last week and I know who your talking about. When I get home tom Ill try and check our navigators to see what her name is. She played a few times in the atrium and in the WDT before one of the shows.

On the Fantasy the house band Good Times Inc played Michael Jacksons, Blame it On the Boogie. This is one of our favorites now. The Sorcerer Radio show does a cruie line "into the sunset hour' or something on Saturdays. There are a lot of steel drum versions of Disney Songs out there from Castaway Cay.

I was recently on Fantasy and in Cabanas I heard an instrumental song that went something like "dodododododo, do do do do dodo. Dahdahdahdahdahdah, dah dah dah dah dahdah." Anyone have the song name? Seemed very beachy vibe, I'm not sure if it had any actual lyrics or was just instrumental. Thanks for your help!
