We are travelling to WDW in April this year. Normally, we pick up and drop off a car at Orlando Airport. But this year we having 10 days on Hampton Lakes followed by a 7 Days Disney Cruise. :cool1:
I need to hire a car from Airport, but my question is what location do I drop off at? I have looked for Port Canaveral, but don't find anything? I think it may be Cape Canaveral, but want to confirm address as they have a few addresses. :confused3

I am also thinking of hiring a car for our trip back from cruise to airport, as there are 7 travelling, it seemed expensive to get the Disney transportation.
Any tips, advise and guidance appreciated.

Thanks

Who are you renting with? All the major car rental places have an office in Cape Canaveral, most of them on the same road.
They also provide a free shuttle bus to and from the cruise ships, so it's all quite easy and stress free (although on the way back, the shuttle busses sometimes get a bit full though, as all the passengers get off the ship at pretty much the same time)

When we dropped off at the port we used USrentacar/Budget, its on their site as 8401 Astronaut Blvd., Cape Canaveral
They offer free shuttle to/from the cruise ships, just 3 or 4 mins away. Only downside we found was lack of choice after the cruise, I ordered an SUV, the best they could offer was a 7 seater mini van which was very old and tired, had to get someone to fill water washers before we left and it had trash inside so not cleaned or checked since previous renter.
Maybe we hit a bad/busy day, others seem to find them OK.
Dollar were just a little further on the road plus others.

Thanks for replies guys, I have am pricing them all up now. It just confused me with being Cape Canveral not Port? But I am with it now!!! (I think)
So next question, this one not so easy...
7 travelling, 5 Adults 2 Children which probably means 7 cases, not all full size though and a pram. My concerns as they have also been in the past is space is the minivan for the cases. In the past we have had more travelling so have had an extra car to use, and other times we have travelled with 6 people so altough tight we managed it all ok for the couple of trips we made with cases. But what do think is the best options?

Thanks

Neil
