Hello, everyone! I am new here and I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone! It must be so exciting!! I am hoping someone could answer my two questions that I have as I am trying to get some information about a possible Disney Fantasy Cruise Line Wedding in the Summer of 2012..
1. Can anyone tell me what other expenses I should be aware of with the wedding package? I know it's $3,500 for CC which is the location I want, but i was curious to the extras such as an on board photo package (not interested in any park photos as time is an issue), extra people attending (around 20 total), flowers for the bridal party, etc. I just want to see how much approximately it will be after all the extras, and if there is any thing else I am unaware of!
The cost only includes up to 10 people including the bride & groom. Anyone guest after that is an additional $20 each. They have three photo packages that start at $350 and goes to $1,000. The flowers for you and the groom are included, but the others are pricey. I am making my own flowers/corsages/boutonniers to save some costs. I'm sorry but $30 for a coursage is ridiculous!
2. Is it really 12 months to the date that you can book the wedding? I would just hate for it to be 12 and then see other's already booked ahead of me when i was unaware! I had someone tell me 16 months, but I am assuming they meant for WDW weddings after lurking the boards. I only have 2 dates that would really work that summer due to medical school, and I'm hoping one of them will work!
I was penciled in before the 12 months timeframe. I called in July for my October wedding and reserved my documents in September when I booked my cruise. You must have the cruise booked first before they will booke the wedding portion.
