Well, now my MIL has changed her mind so they are going! We convinced her that they would spoil her on DCL. I called DCL and while all the HA rooms are booked, they said they would try to help. We got her a folding wheelchair, and hopefully our onboard coordinator will be able to get her a sand wheelchair for the ceremony.

We sail in just 2 days!! I probably won't be able to post many pics until we return from WDW on 11/21. So excited!!

Yeah! Consider getting her a basket from Shirley of items to make her more comfortable, particularly things that are hard to pack.

Christine....Have a WONDERFUL time and a beautiful Ceremony!!!!

This will also be the last day I am posting until after DD's Wedding!!!! We are heading to Pittsburgh tonight, we decided to drive closer to the airport and spend the night in a hotel there and park the car in the hotel lot (avtually alot less expensive then the Airport parking and my husband travels for work so the room is booked on points so it is FREE!!!

We are spending a few days at WDW after the cruise as well we fly home on November 15th. I will be posting pics as soon as I can after we get home.

We are going to get to see ALOT of Wedding pictures in the next few weeks! To everyone who has their Ceremony coming have a wonderful time and CONGRATS!!!!!!

This wedding planing stuff has been quite a journey. Between the cake flavor change, dealing with the ugly podium, and the total change of my CC wedding date, I never thought I would make it.

Thank you all for the information you have posted througout the year or so I have been following this blog.

I wish all of you the best druing your weddings or VR's! Can't wait to see all of your pictures and hear all your stories.

1) if I have guests how have never been on a cruise, how am i supposed to explain getting to "secret" deck 7 aft? Is it visiablly marked? Will they all assemble in 1 place and the OBC take them all up?

2) has anyone gotten a gift for Brie/Cathy before? i know one for the OBC...but what about the planner? I know it's not been all her fault for the serious lack of service so i still want to get her something. how the heck do i get it to her??

Your guests will each be given an invite from DFTW (in their FE). It will tell them were to meet. As for 'secret' deck 7, not hard to find at all. So excited for you!

JEN!! I AM JUST WAKING UP AND SAW THIS!!! YEAH!!!

You will love it!!! Do you have an ipod player?? We set ours up in the corner (there is a plug, but we just used the battery) and had music playing in the room..all our favorite love songs...


about the Deck 7..it is easy..just take the far aft elevators to Deck 7..it is right there! You can't miss it when they decorate and put the sign up.
Maybe you should show people the night before?

I was hoping to see some pics or hear some information. I need cheering up. My grandmother suddenly went downhill and is in a coma. She is in her final days and we have been keeping a bedside vigil.

I've gotten my confirmations and times, etc. and I haven't been excited to post. Boo!

My ceremony is Friday, Dec. 4th at 4:30 pm.
My Palo reservations are for 8 pm that night.
I am getting a Solid French Bouquet and Boutonniere in Hot Pink with light pink ribbon.
1 Hot pink rose wand
7 mickey crystals for Bouquet

Floral Total is $46.00.

I am getting the square chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse filling.

We are having all Disney music for the ceremony. I don't even remember what all we picked out without finding my packet! It will be a pleasant surprise.

I also had my first dress fitting today. I was really worried that it wouldn't fit since I have gained weight! But thanks to my Spanx, it was perfect!

I only have minor alterations, the hem, bustle, and a tuck at the top, so it will be under $100.

We are also doing 1 hr of photography for the ceremony. If we like it, we may add on, but I think we are going to do the rest ourselves.

Have a great time and hurray back with pictures....LOL On my last cruise (last week..sniff sniff) there was a bride getting married on Castaway Cay. I teared up! I wish it would have been me again! I took stalkish pictures from acrossed the beach on Saturday November 7. as soon as I get them uploaded I will post them. According to the salon lady who did my pedicure the wee from Jamacia! If you are a Disboard girl let me know!!!

I'm back!! I'll post a full report next Sat when I get home and can upload pics (which were gorgeous!!!!). Castaway was amazing. Just what I a
wanted. My onboard coordinator, Vanesa, was the BEST.

Floral was a nightmare. Exactly what I specified I didn't want! And wilted and drropy. Vanesa has already contacted shoreside and let them know they will be hearing from me! But I'm not going to deal with that until I get home. Floral was really my only "wish" as I wanted simple. But I don't think I got too bridezilla. But suffice it to say-I am getting my money back for that.

And April, aren't you the one who is also allergic to strawberrries? I clearly told Brie about that, but guess what still got delivered? I was kind of offended that my severe allergic reaction and request not to have them placed in the room was never delivered to the ship.

But none of these things should really surprise any of us. All the problems were on the non-communication of the DFTW side. The ship staff were great, as Cheryl has said, and tried their best to make everthing lovely.

All in all we had a great cruise!!!!!! And did i mention fabulous pictures?!
