Can you link to your Magic Kingdom Pictures?

We didn't get our photos online like all the other girls I think it's the "international bride thing" again as we got a CD with all the images & an album which they choose the photos for

I know it’s sounds terrible to complain but I wasn’t happy with that at all, as they picked photos I wouldn’t have and also they had a different style to me, as I really wanted the album to be a story and I found it was really disjoined & almost slap dash (with photos of us behind the castle, then in front, then behind again, then inside the castle). Anyway we still have to work the album thing with fine art dept, but I will upload all the pics on photobucket and post the link instead.

Also tell us more about staying an extra week!!!

Extra week was amazing they took such fantastic care of us I didn’t want to leave the ship

Week 1 (wedding week) we sailed western Caribbean & week 2 was eastern Caribbean. One of the coolest things was when we were re-booking onboard we were tossing up between the same cabin as we had (cat 6) or splurging on a Cat 3. Anyway they booking girl (& our good sense) steered us to take the cat 6 (as it was $5K more for the suite). Then one of the crew let it slip that “they” had a few special things organized for us for the following week & one was upgrading us to a cat 4 room we were so excited it was so cool. Anyway on our last night (on the first cruise) the booking girl came & found us & said they still had 6 suits left & as we were back to back, we were going to check in first & if we wanted a suite, we could have said suite for $1k more than we were going to pay for our booked room. The Suite was unbelievable & our concierge guy was awesome. Always leaving little gifts & notes in our cabin & our head server gave us a new “congratulations” cake each night that we ate in the dining room I could barely get my jeans on by the time I got off the ship.

By Disney pics do you mean the ones on the ship or the ones in the park? As you can do both. On the cruise your package comes with an hour of photography and this is where our ship pictures come from. You have to book the Magic Kingdom ones separately through your wedding coordinator (and I recently found out we could have done them in other parks too, like animal kingdom or EPCOT).
Our Magic kingdom photo session cost us $1K USD but i don’t live in the USA and I know they have different packages for international brides, so yours might be more or less & definitely does include different things. For example we didn’t get the internet site to log in at look at the photos, which I believe is pretty standard for most sessions.

My only suggestion for photos on the ship is look at as many photos from past brides as you can, for idea & to get a feel of what you like. Then print some you like, take them on the ship with you & show your onboard photographer. As our guy was hopeless & we missed out on heaps of great shots. On your day you have so much going on & the day goes so quickly that you don’t want to worry about remembering stuff. So my big tip is print it out & give it to your photo person/ or onboard wedding coordinator, then they can look after it for you and you can just focus on having a great time

Nessa your pictures are great! Who was tyou MK photographer. Our photographer on the ship sucked, but I came up with poses and make him take them...he listened to me. LOL Thank goodness!

We just got back from our Disney cruise, we met ....ohhh whats his name, the guy whos the coordinator on board...We were waiting to get into Palo and he walked in, and I was like hey wait I know you. And he smiled and said oh really, and I said yes you are the wedding coordinator right? And he said yes, and I go well I have heard WONDERFUL things about you from all my friends on the disboards. He smiled and was very nice.

We went to MK for one day after the cruise, and scouted out spots for our photo shoot. It was fun and helpful to see all the different places. You know what I thought you would be really cool (I don't know if they'd let you) is on the back side. Right where the windows into CRT are, there is a balcony, has anyone taken any pics up there. I know they'll let you go on the stairs, but I can't recall if anyone has taken pics up on the actual balcony. I think that would be a really great shot.

Yes Shanda is my coordinator as well, we haven't spoken much since I'm not a year out. Anyone else planning for 2011?? She said I can't book till end of May or June when the 2011 prices come out! Ughhh, if they go up again...

Hello! I'm getting married in November and just had some questions. We are planning on not paying for a photographer cause we'll have enough guests that wouldn't mind taking pictures for us. We are getting married on CC. How much time do you have in between the wedding and the reception? We are trying to figure out how much time we'll have to take pictures.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've had a horrible flu off and on since we were ON the cruise, so I haven't been too up to date on my disboards lately...

Ohhh let me tell you of the fun we had rebooking on board. So we did it on the first day at Nassau so I wouldn't forget.... we get there and there is a line of 3 people in front of me... We wait over an HOUR to get up there, her computer is not letting her stay on the internet and she keeps calling someone to help but no one comes, shes not the most pleasant either. I tell her exactly what we want and it still takes her like 15 mins to get us booked. Now I'm not upset at her, as its not her fault, BUT she could have been a little more empathetic to the fact that we've spent and hour and a half of our cruise sitting there... so anyways, the lady before me was telling her about her travel agent and she just looked like oh dear lord you want me to do something else. So I didn't tell her anything... Figured I can just give you all the info from here and you can take it over... I'm trying to figure out if my parents are coming with us or not, so once they decide, I'll let you do their booking and give you all our info to take it over...

It was crazy, so anywho... yeah rebooking onboard...ughhh is it normally like that???
