awesome pics shannon!! Looks like you had a beautiful day!! Even if we hadn't been rained out of Deck 7, Castaway Cay would have been moved back onto the ship too....we had crappy weather all cruise long!!

Thank you!! That sucks about the weather! We were incredibly lucky to have decent weather on the cruise. It was rainy and cold both before and after.

Thank you! I had Valerie from Dublin onboard in the spa, she did both my hair and makeup. She did a great job! I couldn't have done it myself if I tried!

I got NOTHING for ya!!!


my hair was good.....it was curly and down, but she just swept the sides up all together, instead of little bits like i wanted.....it looked more like normal everyday hair instead of a special day. plus...even thought the VR was inside, by the time we got to Palo my hair was pretty flat already. so not worth the $70 plus $20 tip i gave her. I can't wait to see the pics to see how long the curls held up.

We have bazillions of pics from the DCL photog, to my Mom, all of our guests, and our camera! I'm updating my PJ/TR with loads!

You have just made my day! I have been trying to find out if there was someone onboard who could do make-up.

Do you remember the cost? But to be honest, I'm having make-up whatever the cost as I don't wear a lot normally so I'm pretty pooh at doing it.

I don't have the receipt, but I think it was $65 for hair, $55 for makeup, and then a tip. I also tried to make sure I had good makeup to use, so I bought a couple of Smashbox kits and foundation. I was really happy with what Valerie did!

I also had to make a separate appt. for the makeup. I was very lucky that Valerie had the time open. When you get onboard make sure you stop by the salon and ask to have it added to your hair appt.

It might also be good to have a backup plan, in my case it was my sister, if the salon is booked, or is not able to accommodate.

Just received an email from DFTW, to say that as of 3rd Jan, Brianna will no longer be the wedding coordinator for the DCL weddings. She is pursuing a new career.

My new coordinator is Shanda. Can't wait to get planning!
