DF also tells me this will be a "technology-free" vacation. However, my iPhone has become an extension of my arm, so I'm not sure how well that is going to work!!!


We leave for FL on Thursday!

there are these little places on the ship that have computers..they charge a few dollars for logging in!! DO IT!!

or..be like me and tell your boss you will check your email while on vacation if he pays for your internet..I got the money and logged in from my room and did live updates..remember the 2am wake up?? LIVE UPDATE..thank you boss..haha

Okay, here are the romantic shots of just us...

This was one I saw in the photo book Vanesa showed us, and I really liked it.

This one is my favorite of the two of us, I think.

This one is in Palo, which was really nice. I am SO glad I had the Castaway ceremony, because I enjoyed Palo as a reception. My kids got a kick out of being "the only kids on the entire cruise who got to go to Palo"!!The only "catch" came that we had to walk up 10 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS!! Vanesa had coordinated to have the ship change their generator test from 11:30, to 12:00. During the generator test, the elevators don't work. Obviously with my MIL in a wheelchair, there was no way she could attend the reception without an elevator. Well, after our beach pictures we got back to the ship at 11:55. UGH they had already turned the power off!! Vanesa was a little embarrassed, I think. At least MIL had already made it up in the nick of time. Remember, we were late getting going due to the difficulty docking and clearing the ship, so we were running about 45 minutes behind the "original" schedule (but on time for Vanesa's Plan B schedule, at least!). And it was HOT. The first 5 flights were okay- I had been taking the stairs ALL THE TIME during the week anyway, to make sure I still fit into my dress! (I actually lost a little weight I think- and DD had to safety pin the back of it that morning!!) The second 5 flights were a little stuffier and by the time we got up there DH and DD were sweating. Gross! I was grateful I was in a short dress, rather than a big fluffy gown like my first wedding dress. I hate to sweat.

Tip for those with kids at the reception: I had the kids have apple juice for the toast, rather than spring for Disney's exhorbitant cost for Martinelli's. And it was free! The rest of us very much enjoyed the Fairy Tale Cuvee, in fact we had it with dinner twice prior to the ceremony day.

This one turned out really nice too, I think. It's a good picture of us both.

I love your dress. It's simple and perfect. Did you get it custom made?

No- I ordered it online from a place in Hawaii. But, it didn't fit quite right and I had beaucoup alteration issues. In the end it still didn't fit quite right, but close enough! I loved the pattern and the style. I agonized for months over styles. I wanted something simple, and it ended up looking lovely. Just the style I wanted for a beach ceremony.

BEAUTIFUL Pictures Christine! Love the outfits! U GH on the orange in your bouquet!! Have you talked to Brie about it???

Brie and I have played phone tag for the last week and half, and today we finally connected. She said the bouquet pictures Vanesa sent from the cruise line just arrived- and yeah UGH she said, that looks nothing like the planning packet tropical bouquet with all those peach roses! She said she would talk to the florist about it and why they did that when it was supposed to be no orange... She also said I am getting refunded for my floral headpieces. Wrong color, wilted, and the biggest issue...they were identical to the boutinierres! And a lot more money. What a ripoff!! SO I am waiting to see that refund.
We had a good conversation and I am confident I will see some movement from DFTW on the bouquet too.

In the end though, the day was lovely and the ceremony great!

This is the first time I am able to post after my cruse!!! The wedding was way better then I thought it would be!! VANESSA was my onboard coordinator made everything possible. My photog LOUI was amazing! I have all these wonderful shots from around the island and on the ship.

The only frustrating past was that this whole time BRI told me that i couldn't get a mango mousse cake, but yet on pirate night guess what was on the menu? >


HI again Virginia!! It was nice to meet you in the sting ray lagoon.

I can't wait to get my MK AK and Epcot pics!

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!!

I cannot rave enough about the ship, the crew, and Imran - our coordinator. Everyone went above and beyond our expectations and made our ceremony and our entire trip a wonderful experience. We had some blunders - like ummm strawberry daquiri spilled by a waitress ALL over my dress!!!!!!!!!! But it was dry cleaned for me and put back as new. My son also lost one of our bands off the pillow - and they held up our ceremony while Imran crawled around on the floor in his hands and knees! We didn't find it and did the ceremony without it, but he didn't need to do that and did it anyway.

My flowers were beyond gorgeous and we were treated like celebrities the entire time. The ceremony itself was just magical! I can't wait to share pictures and all the details. Also, my DIS friends from the cruise forum are totally awesome. They did so much for us. Disney people are the best. I cannot rave enough about everything and everyone.

It was perfect!
