Thank you so much for the warm welcome, everyone! :goodvibes

I'm working on our Save the Dates at the moment, and decided to make up a wedding website that guests could use as a resource. Did anyone do this for their wedding? Do you have any suggestions for layout and content?? I'd so appreciate any help that is provided.

Congratulations to Princessheather! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful wedding photos! Enjoy your honeymoon =)

I did a couple. We did one on the Knot.com but it was kind of a pain. So I got one on blogger.com from google and it works pretty well.

www.bdps2011.blogspot.com maybe it will give you an idea or two!

Congrats too!!

Just saying hello. I'm so ready for our trip! I have a zillion countdowns going.

I know we have at least three dis- cruise weddings in the next 2 weeks!

So exciting!

Hey, guys, still planning a DCL wedding, but having a really hard time choosing between on the ship or on Castaway Cay! I have a couple of questions, but even if you don't know, perhaps you know whom I can contact to find out? I've read through the Passporter ebook on Disney weddings and honeymoons, and ended up with more questions than answers...:rotfl:

--Will they even do a ceremony on the ship while docked at Castaway Cay or would they stick to the "only ceremonies on board performed at sea or while docked in Nassau? CC is the only location/background I want on Earth. :goodvibes

--Will they do a ceremony anywhere else on Castaway Cay other than the teen/family beach palm tree location? Like at the Castaway Air bar?

--Would they do it any earlier than 10am, when swimmers would be in our photos of the ceremony? I don't have that huge a problem with it as they seem very small in others' photos, but...I don't know, the whole appeal is being on a 'private' Bahamian island (yes, with 3000 others, ha!) and I would much rather have just the blue water/ship/palm trees in the background of our ceremony video and photos than swimmers.

TIA! :goodvibes

Royal Cinderella~
I do not think u have a choice where and when you have your ceremony. I think they do the same for everyone who gets married on the ship or the island. I would much rather get married on the ship while at castaway cay, but it doesn't seem like it was an option. I will check with Shanda tomorrow.

Yes, I believe the times/places are strict and not much of budge room! Shanda would have the answer however, so that is who I would contact! Also I think they do the weddings each on a separate day so the day of the CC wedding the onboard wedding would not be taking place...

Hello all!! im back from our lovely honeymoon and had some time to get some pictures together to share with you. These pictures were not taking by the Disney on board photographers but by my brother. However i did have an on board photographer from the cruise and i will be able to share those pictures that he took with you tomorrow! the pictures i selected to share for you will give Disney cruise brides an idea how a wedding in the Outlook (on board weddings) may look & how mine looked. Hope you enjoy!!

This is what the guys looked like on the big day. Father of the bride and Ring boy was in tan colored suites with a more casual look while the groom matched with a more dressed up look since he was the groom. Having an indoor wedding made this very easy to pull both looks off.

c2.jpg

same thing with the best man

c3.jpg

where they play the piano. he did an excellent job from what i can tell.. i was so excited that i cant really remember hearing him playing lol. the only thing on my mind was marrying my groom.

c4.jpg

our on board coordinator Sarah! she was fantastic and very helpful.

c5.jpg

traditional cake topper. im sure you all have seen. your allowed to keep this as a keepsake. i have mine on my entertainment center next to one of our professional wedding picture.

c6.jpg

cake LOOKED fantastic but im sad to say tasted horrible. BUT the taste of the cake has to be the ONLY complaint that i had. it did not taste fresh and if your wondering what kind did i have i just had the vanilla cake with chocolate truffle moose. it was even hard to cut through hahaha. me and my husband had to use all our muscle to cut through it but it is sure a great laugh now that i think about it.

c7.jpg

this was pretty cool. there is a sign outside of the outlook that had our names and stated our wedding date and time.

c8.jpg

We had the honors of having captain Henry Marry us! it was funny cause my husbands name is Henry Anderson and Captain Henry's full name is captain Henry Anderssen.

c9.jpg

Groom's boutonniere . We went with the tropical package.

c10.jpg

these were the invitations that were sent to each stateroom of our guest about our wedding.

this was my line up for the ceremony. My brother/best man walked my stepmom down the aisle first walked her to her seat, and stood up front with the groom. then my mom and my step dad, ring boy, jr bridesmaid, maid of honor then my father and I!

c15.jpg

we were able to customize our wedding ceremony as well. if you have seen the ceremony script you see how unpersonalized it could be so i have added in the beginning of the ceremony an opening prayer since we are both Christians it was important for us to have that in our wedding. The wedding coordinator nor the captain had any problems with that so it worked out great!

c16.jpg

also i have added a part where my sister/jr. bridesmaid had a reading from the bible that is wedding related. she did a great job and everyone enjoyed it.

c17.jpg

the wine they serve everyone after the ceremony is called fairytale celebrations cuvee. It is a pretty strong wine and they also give you a complimentary bottle sent to your room that night.

c18.jpg

after the ceremony you get a couple minutes to be alone with your groom. which had to be the most emotional part of the wedding because tears were unstoppable. this is us entering the room after being announced as Mr. & Mrs. Anderson. they give your guest flowers to throw which make for great photos.

c19.jpg

the fake flowers i purchase for my MOH and JR.bridesmaid. they matched perfectly with my flowers.

c20.jpg

ring boy drinking apple cider. he enjoyed this very much and i thought it was great that they kept the kids involved for the toast.

c21.jpg

I had my father do the toast and it was an emotional time as well.

c22.jpg

mom of the bride pulled off a great look. she went with a soft gold shimmering layered dress.

c23.jpg

the young ones loved picking up and re throwing the flowers lol.

c24.jpg

My maid of honor who cried the whole time lol she wore a coral short satin dress with a coral flower in her hair. she looked beautiful.

c25.jpg

our rings.

c26.jpg

The half eaten cake.. :( couldn't finish it lol.

c27.jpg

This is a picture of the podium that the captain stands behind for the ceremony. i think it has an elegant style to it.

c28.jpg

our first dance. we danced to 'so this is love' by James Ingram. You will have your first dance (and everything else besides dinner) right in the outlook.

c29.jpg

here is me in the only picture i could find of just me and my dress. I enjoyed this dress very much! I loved the reactions i got from everyone including random people on the ship. She was truly a beauty to run around the ship in.

c30.jpg

this is a picture of me dancing with my father.. and my baby sister sitting on the floor watching us. i think this is such a great picture because once i was a baby looking up at a bride knowing one day that i would get the chance to dance with my father on my wedding day.

c31.jpg

oh i had myself a ball running around the ship i had to take a seat! specially in those heels <3

we have opted to have a palo dinner the night before so that we could eat with our family the night of the wedding. We ate at the enchanted garden on the dream and it was great.

c32.jpg

this is one of the reasons why i loved the enchanted garden the lighting in the room and the fountain made for good pictures.

c34.jpg

like this one! which is one of my favoritesss.

c35.jpg

i would have to say having the chance to run around such a beautiful ship as the dream is such an honor!

c36.jpg

here is a picture of us on the grand stairs of the dream!

c37.jpg

this adorable little girl wanted a picture with me. she thought i was a princess. If your a disney fan and grew up loving all the princesses this feeling of being one on a disney ship is amazing!

c38.jpg

here is a picture of us exchanging our rings.. and our on board photographer. he did an amazing job.

c39.jpg

you may now kiss the bride!

c40.jpg

the whole gang! there were about 40 guest all together and we were able to all fit in the outlook with more then enough room.

c41.jpg

my flowers with the famous Disney cruise pillow. so cute!

c42.jpg

i was very very much pleased with how beautiful my flowers were! i chose the tropical package. i couldn't stop holding them or staring at them. Just gorgeous!

c43.jpg

well that's it for the non-pro pics of our on board wedding at the outlook on the Disney dream! it was truly a dream and love having these pictures to go back and relive the memories. Wer were sooo happy and i know you brides will be just as well on your wedding day!
