Woke up around 7:00am, yes I was too excited to sleep and also wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything. Well ate some breakfast and watched tv till around 9:45. Got the rest of my stuff together and at 10:00am we left to go to newark airport. Got to the parking lot around 11:30am, took at bus to the terminal and checked our bags in. The Security line was short, I'm not joking it was the shortest it has ever been, we got through it in one minute thats how short it was it was great. After that we went to get some lunch since it was 12:15 or so. Got some garlic knots and a root beer float and after lunch went and got a book to read on the plane. it was around 1:00 at that time, so we went to the gate, read some of the book and then when I got bored with that I watched tv, we started boarding the plane around 1:30 or so. It was a good plane ride, watched a dvd the whole way. Got to orlando earlier then we were suppose to around 4:10, got the luggage and then got a shuttle to the Dolphin hotel it took forever to get there since there were so many people. Got to the hotel around 5:00 o'clock, checked in and went to the room. After we checked out the room we went and ate at Big River Grille & Brewing Works on Disney's Boardwalk for dinner. Got this got pasta that was good. After dinner we went to epcot, walked around there for a bit

and then saw fireworks there that night. After we watched the fireworks we walked back to the hotel. Watched some tv and fell asleep around 10:30.

Friday, August 18th, 2006
Woke up around 7:15, took a shower and got ready for the day. Went to breakfast at Gulliver's Grill which is in the Swan hotel. After breakfast went back to the room brushed my teeth and then we headed to Magic Kingdom. Walked around Magic Kingdom, dad wanted to go on Pirate of the Caribbean ride and I wanted to go see the show in front of the castle so we spilt up.

Watched the show and dad still hadn't called to meet up so I went to some stores on main street usa. Dad called around 11:30 and we met up by the gate, and took the monorail over to Contemporary hotel(which is the first hotel we stayed in. Looked around there for a while then decided to head to epcot. So took the monorail to the transporation center and then from there got a monorail to epcot. Got some mexican food from the mexican part in epcot

then headed back to the Dolphin for a while hung in the room reading till about 3:30, then walked to mgm studios. I just wanted to look around in mgm stuios and get a good spot for the parade, but dad wanted to go on a ride. So we spilt up, I went to look in shops and then after a while got a pretty good spot for the parade so I could see it.

After the parade met up with my dad and we headed back to the dolphin hotel. Got some dinner and took it up to the room. After dinner went for a quick swim in the pool. Took some picutres around the hotel and then went back to the room and took a shower thinking a I was gonna fall asleep. I couldn't fall asleep so I watched some tv till 12:30 or so. fell asleep till around 1:35, and woke up because the pillows were to soft and my ear bothered me, fell asleep around 3:00

Saturday, August 19th, 2006
Slept till 7:00am. I got up and took and shower while dad went to get coffee, after getting ready we went to the boardwalk bakery to get a small breakfast, after getting the food went back up to the room and ate.

After breakfast I needed gum but didn't have any so we went on a search for gum(yeah they don't sell gum in disney that is werid). After no luck with gum, we went back to the hotel room and got our bags and went down to the lobby of the dolphin, it was 11:00 and the bus was leaving to go to the terminal at 11:30 so we hung in the lobby and I read my book while dad walked around. Around 11:30, they started getting people who were on the bus together in part of the lobby, got on the bus and headed to port. My called my cell on the way to port to say have a good time. Got to port around 1:30.The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia had just arrived at port before we did so we had to wait like 20 minutes on the bus it seemed till we could get off the bus. Got off the bus, went through security and checked in and finally were walking onto the ship, they anounnced your name as you board the ship and that was awesome like the other two times. It was around 2:00 o'clock so we headed up to deck 6 to go check out the cabin, we were in cabin 6022 which is forward part of the ship. Went up to topsiders and grabbed some lunch, after lunch went to walk around and look at my home away from home, long time since I had been there. Met up with a girl named Lindsay who I had been talking to before the cruise, we talked for a bit then I went back to the cabin and chilled till the mandatory boat drill, it is usually from 4:00-4:30, but seems like it goes quicker. After that went to the cabin to put the life vest back in the closet and then went to deck 9 for the Sail Away Party

danced some while we were sailing away, then around 5:00 or so went back to the cabin

and got dressed for dinner, the luggage had all got there, We had early seating at Lumiere's at 6:00pm, so for the cruise our dinner rotation was LAP, same one as last cruise. After dinner went to the All Aboard! Let the Magic Begin show in the Walt Disney Theatre. After the show walked around the ship and then around 10:00 or so met up with Lindsay and we walked around the ship and talked, met this guy craig and we all just walked, sat around and hung till 1:45 or so. Went back to the cabin and read my book some and fell asleep.

Castaway Cay Day 1, day at sea, and Costa Maya to come some time later today, but right now gotta get ready for the day.

haha yeah I forget what times usually, for things not no the ship but on the ship I just look at the navigators i still have.

Sunday, August 20th, 2006
Woke up around 6:45, dad was out of the cabin so I got ready for the day. Today we were at Castaway Cay! Ate breakfast at topsider buffett.

After breakfast left my dad and went to the internet cafe to try to e-mail my mom who was home, but it was slow so I couldn't so just went on aim. Got off the ship around 8:30 and headed to the family beach on Castaway Cay and found a nice place in the shade near the gazebo.

Went swimming from about 9:30 till 11:30 and then they were playing music in the gazebo so went to see what was happening their. DJ Mike, Pikey, and Jeremy were there trying to get people to dance and stuff. After that got some cookie dough ice cream for lunch and went back to the beach and sat in the chair for a while.

Around 1:30 or so I headed on over to the grouper game pavilion, nothing was happening there so I just shot some baskets with the basketball, watched the ping pong tournament at the grouper game pavilion at 2:30. At about 3:30 I headed back to the ship.

Went to the cabin and got ready for dinner at 6:00 in Animator's Palate. Went the the shops on deck 4 and looked around, saw some things I might by. Went to the internet cafe it was full so I went to shutters to meet my dad. Dinner was good the night, we had the show at Animator's Palate which was good for the third time. After dinner went to the internet cafe e-mailed my mom, and it actually worked this time. Went to the cabin and saw the towl animal

and changed into shorts then headed to the college club social in Diversions and met a whole lot of great people I chilled with on the cruise. At 10:45 we all watch the adult cabaret: Greg Kennedy on the tv's in diversions because it was in Rockin' Bar D and even though we could go in there it was packed. After that everyone cleared out of diversions and we all just talked till about 1:45am in the morning, then some of the people decieded to go dance in Rockin' Bar D while the rest went back to there cabins or some where else. Got back to the cabin around 2:00am and read some of the book and fell asleep around 2:30.

Monday, August 21st, 2006
Woke up around 7:30 and got ready for the day. Today was our character breakfast but I decided not to go and to take longer getting ready, but my dad went to the character breakfast at 8:00, while I went to topsider buffett for breakfast at 8:00.I was wear my warped tour shirt and this girl and guy came up that were teens in the stack came and ate breakfast with me, they were pretty nice. After chating with them I headed to the internet cafe went on aim for a little.At 10:00 they were having the Mickey 200 in the promenade lounge so I decided to go watch that for a while, then when I got bored watching that went to watch people play Diamond Jackpot Bingo in Rockin' Bar D. At 11:00 or so Mickey came out and I got a picture with him. After getting a picture I had the chance to meet Verandah Man, really nice guy. After that went to see if anyone was on aim and then went up to deck 9 to get lunch, got chicken fingers, they are so good, yum yum and took them up to deck 10.

After lucnh went to the goofy pool and watched fun in the sun which had some of the cruise staff on stage.

At 2:00 I was going to go see the Golden Mickeys, but decided not to so I could go watch Mr. Toad's Wild Race at 2:30, watched Mr. Toad's Wild Race,

after that it was kinda stormy out about then so wanted to go out of deck 4 to see it storm since I've never been on a ship when it rained, the wind was blowing hard and it made it hard to open the doors and go in and out on deck 4. Around 5 went to the cabin to get changed for dinner, then walked around the ship and met up with my dad outside of Parrot Cay. It was formal night, after dinner went to the cabin and got changed into pants, then headed to the Walt Disney Theatre to see The Golden Mickey's since I didn't see them on the last cruise. After the golden mickeys I went to the cabin to see the towel animal and change and then went to the college club thing and we all danced in Rockin' Bar D having a good time till like 1:45 in the morning. Went back to the cabin, read like two pages and fell asleep right away

next up tomorrow will be Costa Maya and Cozumel days.

Woke up around 7:15am, took a shower and got ready, headed up to topsiders for breakfast. After breakfat went to the internet cafe and went on aim for a lil and the disboards, talked to my friends and then logged off.

Went and sat on deck 4 till about 11:30 or 12:00 and got off the ship. Went into Costa Maya. Costa Maya isn't really that great, well I think I would have liked Key West more, but whatever, it was nice though to look at since I've never been there and like to go to new places. So in Costa Maya I just took some pictures of the town and the Disney Magic from town

and then headed back to the ship. Went to the internet cafe and went on myspace. It was about 1:15 so I went to get some lunch, got some chicken fingers(boy where they good) and then went to the cabin to relax for about 5 mins. Went down to the promenade Lounge and they were having a Paper Plane Making in there so went to the internet cafe again since no one was in there. Went to sit in the comfy chairs on deck 4 outside by the Atrium for a while and took some myspace pitures,

wanted a soda so I headed up to deck 9 to get a drink. Walked around deck 9 and 10 and took pictures of Costa Maya from decks 9 and 10.

X.O.P. was playing at the adult pool so I went to watch them for a little and they still weren't good, so went inside to sit by the forward elevators on deck 10. Went down to the Atrium on deck 3 and chilled for a while then around 5:00 met up with my dad and headed to the Castaway Club Reception, at the castaway club reception got a really good drink. Left that around 5:20 to get ready for dinner in Lumiere's. Went to dinner and it was good once again. After dinner it was about 7:00 o'clock, went to look around in the stores for a while, then went back to the cabin to change into more comfy clothes. Went to the internet cafe and went on the computer for a while since no one was in there. Around 9:45 went to watch Mickey Mania(game show) in Studio Sea. Headed to Diversons to meet up with the awesome people I had been chillin with for the cruise, we went to 80's Dance Party in Rockin' Bar D and danced till around 2:00am. Went back to the cabin read some of my book and fell alseep.

Wednesday, August 23, 2006
Woke up today around 7:00 o'clock. Got ready and went to topsiders for breakfast.

After breakfast went to the internet cafe and went on aim and talked to some friends. Went and chilled in the Atrium till 12:00 and then took a tender into Cozumel. walked around in Cozumel.

I have been to Cozumel and loved it a lot and it was still good this time. Bought a shirt, some playing cards and some winterfresh gum in Cozumel. I was glad I could buy gum for the plane ride home in Cozumel since every time I go to Orlando I can't buy gum since they don't sell it. Headed back to the ship and got back to the ship around 1:25.

Went to the internet cafe again and went online. Started to get hungry so I went up to get some chicken fingers. I think I got chicken fingers for lunch every day besides on Castaway Cay, I also tried some of the pizza for lunch today to so I could say I ate that too and it was good pizza. Went the the arcade after lunch and played some games. Around 3:30 I went to watch Chip-It Golf in the Atrium, after that went and sat out of deck 4 for a while,

around 5:00 went to the cabin to get ready for dinner and then went and got my picture taken with Captain Jack Sparrow.

Went to dinner at Animator's Palate tonight only had crab cake since I wasn't hungry and they brought out two for me since I asked for two. After dinner went to shutters to buy some pictures(man does that place get hot fast), and then went to watch Jackpot Bingo in the Promenade Lounge for a while, went to the internet cafe and went online then went to the cabin to drop pictures off. Went and chilled in the Atrium till around and then headed up to the Pirates IN The Caribbean Deck Party.

That was a blast let me tell you, danced to all the songs, then they had fireworks, second time I saw them and it was amazing again. After the deck party went down to Rockin' Bar D to watch the adult cabaret show of Taylor Mason, it was funny I thought. Went to the internet cafe and went on the internet and talked to some people for a while. Went up to deck 4 and sat outside at night, seemed great to be out there at night. Went back to the cabin around 1:45 and went to bed since I was tired.

next up I'll write about sea day 2 and castaway cay day 2.

Were there any decent songs at the pirate party? We got to the pirate party after 10pm (dinner was really slow). It was just the tail end of the show with the characters before Mickey came down and started the fireworks. The CMs were dancing but I couldn't differentiate one song from another. And nothing that I felt like dancing to.

Was there better music at the beginning of the show or after the fireworks?

I know we missed a lot of the party, but I felt underwhelmed.

actually I know there was one song I didn't except to hear at pirate party or on the ship and it's a favorite song of mine and it was good other then that just same music as the other deck partys.

thanks for the reply.......I've been on other DCL cruises where the music at the deck parties definitely got you wanting to dance. But this time I just thought it was rather dull. Lacked the "magic".

I remember one time leaving Grand Caymen to go to Coz. The CM on the microphone up on deck 9 got everyone to count down from five to one in Spanish. Then the ship blew the horn and the party got started. Good dance music.

I thought they had ok dance music, I really only danced in Rockin' Bar D thought late at night till like 2:00am every night and music in there they played late at night was better dance music for my age grow the deck party music is better for the younger kids, but still some good music

Hopefully at some point before the decade runs out I'll be able to stay awake to hit the bars after 10pm for some serious dancing.

Woke up around 7:30(yes I hate to say it but I didn't sleep past 7:30 the whole vacation) and got ready for the day it was another sea day, and sea days are my favorite. Went up to topsiders for breakfast and ate. After breakfast went to the internet cafe, talked to friends and aim and told them once again I was on a cruise lol love making them mad. Went to sit in the Atrium for a while, around 10:15 I went to watch Think You Know Your Family in the Promenade Lounge and let me tell you it was pretty funny, after that went to buy some pictures of myself from shutters and went to the Mickey's Mates and Treasure Ketch to buy some stuff I wanted. Went and dropped everything off in the cabin and then went to watch a little Mickey 200 in the Promenade Lounge, then Pajama Jackpot Bingo in Rockin' Bar D.

Went up to deck 4 to the stores and bought a postcard to have the Captain sign and then went to sit in the comfy chairs inside on deck 4 till 12:15 and went and met and got a picture with the captain.

I was hungry at that point so went up to deck 9 to get some chicken fingers and also got a soda, sat and deck 9 by the arcade and ate my food(god the chicken fingers were good) after went to deck 10 and took some pictures.

Around 1:00 they had Fun in the Sun at the goofy pool so I decided since I didn't tape much with my video tape that I would tape it, so taped that and deck 9 for a while.

Headed down to Preludes since they were having bingo presales, I was gonna buy some just to say I played bingo on the ship but decided not to and went to sit on deck 4 outside, relaxed there till around 2:55 or so and went to the Atrium and watched Chip-It Golf for about 5 minutes then head to the Walt Disney Theatre and played Final Jackpot Bingo, I didn't win(darn it) but it was fun and a family a row down from me won. After that went out on deck 4 and sat down for a while. At 5:00 the Kids Clubs had the Celebrate the Journey in the Walt Disney Theatre, stuck my head in for some of that even though I didn't know anyone in it and it was cute. Went to the room and got ready for dinner the went to deck 4 and sat for a while.

We were in Parrot Cay that night and I had Lobster(good stuff). After dinner went to watch Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer? then went to the shops and looked around, didn't feel like going to the show that night because I didn't think it would interest me much, so went to the internet cafe and then sat inside on deck 4 for a while. Around 9:45 went to the Family Spy Party in Studio Sea. After that headed down to Rockin' Bar D to watch Cabaret: Rich Purpura. At 11:00 got online for the midnight dessert buffet, for got my camra so I couldn't take any pictures, but tired some of the desserts and they were good. Went to watch the 70s Disco Party in Rockin' Bar D and then went to the internet cafe and talked on aim and went online. Went and chilled in the Atrium and then when I was sitting in there a father went to guest services looking for his son who him and his wife couldn't find and he saw my Hidden In Plain View(a band) shirt said stanhope and town around were and asked if I was from there and I said no I'm from Andover, and found out he lived in byram which is right by my town a town over, what a small world lol. Went back to the internet cafe went on internet till 2:00 and then headed to deck 4 sat outside a few minutes and then headed to the cabin, read some of my book and fell asleep.

Woke up around 6:50, dad was already out of the cabin so I got ready for the day and then watched a little tv. Headed to topsiders for breakfast, the breakfasts there that week were always good I thought.

After breakfast went down to the internet cafe and went on aim and chated. Sat down in the Promenade Lounge and waited till we could get. Headed of the ship to Castaway Cay family beach

and stopped at the shops on castaway cay and bought some stuff, got there early enough so there were plenty of chairs. Got a chair near the back by the Gazebo, so it would be easy to find it I got lost going back to the chair and then I could listen to the music when I wanted to. Layed on the chair for a while and then went swimming for a half hour or so and let me tell you this, castaway cay is the only beach I will swim in just because I hate sand. After I went swimming I went to watch the crab races that were being held by the Gazebo. Went back to the chair and sat there and chilled. Walked over to the Grouper Game Pavillion practiced some Free Throw's, I really got bad at those after not having a gym class everyday. Went back to the family beach and dad found me and joined me for a while, then he went to get lunch and I went sat there since it was a nice day out. Went to get lunch at Cookie's B.B.Q. and then after lunch went for another dip in the water. Walked to the Grouper Game Pavillion again and nothing was happening so I went back to the chair and sat there till about 3:00, took some last minute pictures of castaway cay

and started to head back to the ship.

Made a video tape while I walked back to the ship. Went to deck 4 and took a couple pictures of castaway cay from there and then headed up to the cabin. Dad was there and wanted to take my picture of deck 10 with castaway cay in the background, so we headed up to deck 10, and took the picture.

Headed back down to deck 4 and dad went to the debarkation presentation while I went to get some chicken fingers. Got chicken fingers and then went to the cabin and got ready for the last dinner which was in Lumiere's tonight, dinner was good and they had a parade thing too, got a video of that.

After dinner went to the room and packed up my stuff and headed to the store to do some last minute shopping, got all the stuff and went to the show, that night it was Remember the Magic, it was a small scence then some comedy people it was the best show the whole cruise. After that went to the internet cafe one more time and then went to meet up with the people I'd been hangging with the whole cruise in diversons. Left them for a while and went and took some video and pictures of 'Til We Meet Again in the Atrium,

went back to diversons for pub night and party paul was there playing the guitar and singging songs for us. Pikey joined him a while later and they both opened up pub night by doing american pie, then pikey, jeremy, and kristy sang the beer song, after the beer song jeremy and um I don't remember who it was one of the girls sang my bonnie lies over the ocean song, then jeremy said and here is your cruise staff and they did a great funny skit called "If I were not upon the sea", this was for adults only 18 and up. After that me and the gang from the cruise went to Rockin' Bar D, took pictures with everyone


and then dance with everyone till 1:45, when we all started leaving. Went to the cabin and fell asleep.

tomorrow will be debarkation morning and disney world after the cruise

Woke up around 5:30 and got dressed and ready for the day. Walked around the ship and took last minute pictures and videos of stuff I didn't get before. Went back to the cabin and got my bags and went and chilled in on deck four chairs till early sitting breakfast started. Went to breakfast said good-byes to tablemates and dining staff and then went took a couple more pictures of around the ship and headed off the ship. Didn't take long to get off and we were off and one your way to Animal Kingdom lodge and got there by 10:00, checked in and our room was ready, so went up to it and layed down for a little. Headed over to epcot around 11:30 because we had lunch reservations at a seafood place(don't remember the name of it sorry). Walked around epcot till like 12:30 and went to lunch. Lunch was actually pretty good had grilled salmon sandwhich. After lunch walked around epcot and took some pictures then went back to the hotel. That afternoon took a couple naps and watch some tv and called mom to let her know we were on land again. Went to dinner and the food court in the hotel. They had chicken fingers and honey mustard sauce I like so got them. After dinner went back up to the hotel room and took and shower and layed down and watched tv some and fell asleep around 9:30 that night.

Woke up around 7:15, got up took a shower and then went to breakfast. After breakfast went back up to the room brushed my teeth and then we headed to catch a bus over to Magic Kingdom around 10:00. Got to Magic Kingdom and went on Pirates of the Carribean ride. After that just walked around Magic Kingdom and shopped some. Walked over to the contemporary hotel from the Magic Kingdom and looked around there. After looking around there took a boat ride over to the Wilderness lodge and bought a cup from there, looked around there a little and then took a bus to mgm and from mgm took a bus to Animal Kingdom lodge. Got some lunch at the food court, I got pizza this time and then went to the arcade for a while and played video games. Went back to the room and watched tv and then watched to animals outside of our room. Around 5:00 we got a bus over to downtown disney. Went shopping and bought some cd's and dvd's and then went to dinner at planet hollywood(IMO don't go there after a cruise go before the cruise). After dinner walked around and took some pictures and then went to catch a bus back to the hotel. Went to the gift shop at the hotel and looked around and then went to the room and packed some stuff up so we didnt have to pack it all tomorrow morning. Took and shower and watched some tv till around 11:30 when I fell asleep

Monday, August 28, 2006
Woke up around 6:45 and got dressed and ready for the day. Went to eat breakfast and then went to the arcade for a while. Around 9:30 went back up to the room and went and took pictures from other room of the view and of the room. Left the room around 10:00 and went and checked our bags at the desk since we were heading to Animal Kingdom for a while that morning. Took a bus to Animal Kingdom, walked around animal kingdom for a while and bought a mickey bar. Left Animal Kingdom and took a bus over to mgm studios. While going into mgm there were people there that had tickets to get into universal studios trying to get in that was a great laugh to watch. Walked around mgm for a while shopped and was going to go on a ride but the line was pretty long and we didn't have a lot of time left, she just walked around and then left and took a bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Got some chicken fingers for lunch. After lunch went to the arcade played a couple games and then walked around the hotel finishing my video tape up I had. Met up with dad amd we got the disney magical express to the airport at 1:30. Hung around the airport and caught our(plane I don't know what time at, but it was delayed) got to newark, nj around 8:30 or so. Got the luggage and then took a bus to the car and drove home, Got home around 9:30pm.
