Okay so I applied for a Disney credit card only because they offered me a one time use $150 disney gift card after I make a charge with the card. Has anyone done this before? Will they just send me my gift card in 6-8 weeks like it said. Or do I have to do something first after I make my payment on the card?

I believe they will issue you 150 reward points on the card, which you then redeem for a $150 gift card. Love the Disney Visa! Usually earn enough points to pay for all the food on our trip!!

I got a similar offer and a gift card was mailed to me about two weeks after I made the first purchase.

I did not have to call. However, watch your mail because I almost threw the gift card away thinking it was junk mail

I signed up for a $1oo gift card offer I saw here and got the card within 2-3 weeks of the first time I used the credit card.

There are usually 2 offers out there- one for a gift card and one for reward points.

My MIL just signed up for the 150 rewards points and with hers you get the 150 after the first purchase and then you get another 100 points if you do a balance tranfer. They don't carry balances on their cards so I told her to buy something at Kohls and transfer it. It will help with the expenses on their first trip to WDW this Christmas. Her offer expired 2/28/11

I already have a Disney Visa card but today we received an offer for $200 gift card after the first use. Can you have more than 1 card?? It is tempting to get and cancel after the first use.

Yes you can have more than one Disney Visa card; several people have posted that they do.

Any tips on how to get the offer? We received the $150 offer right after we got back from WDW last year, but it is now expired. Or can someone give the link for the $100 promo that was mentioned?

Well now I just got another one in the mail for $200. Wish I could get the extra $50...oh well. When they sent me the application it had a code number on the bottom attatched with my name. Not sure if I can share these codes.

I got mine in the mail...many different times. It is a Disney Visa Card by Chase. I am pretty sure that you can't find it online because at the bottom of the letter it has your invitation number and offer code. You can see about going to order the card online at getmydisneyvisa.com but I am pretty sure you will need a letter to enter the code that matches.

My wife got a $200 offer in the mail today, applied online and was approved instantly. There is an invitation number that she had to put on her online application and an offer code which she didn't. You can try calling 888-560-3027 and asking for the offer. This offer expires April 18th. Between getting 4 free round trip tickets from Southwest and this gift card it's been a pretty good month for credit card offers.
