Disney Credit Card promos?

Long ago I was a Disney credit card holder and every few months they would offer 5X the points, which worked great.

I closed the account and just recently received a new card for an upcoming November trip.

Does anyone know... Does the credit card still offer that promotion?

Unfortunately, it doesn't happen very often. During the spring, they offered a promotion for utility payments which was nice. Other than that , I haven't had one in a long time.

Seconded. Occasionally they'll run 3x or 4x points promos but it's been few and far between last couple years.

The Disney card was my first CC when i turned 18, 20 years ago...I haven't seen anything like this other than the utility bill thing last year in a very long time. IMO the perks associated with the card have really been trimmed down to almost nothing.

I've had it 3 years and the Disney Premier card <1 year and neither has ever been offered that type of promo. Only some people got the offer cited above this year, I was not one of them. I encourage you to come join us over on the i love credit cards thread. You don't have to be a crazy credit card opener like me, some people just have questions about a single card My suggestions for you since your goal is to build points towards your Disney trip:
-do you have a spouse? Use the Chase referral tool and refer them, you get $50 and they'll get $200 if you spend $500 in 3 months (sometimes $ is statement credit, sometimes a disney gift card)
-interested in opening another credit card? if you don't want other types of cards you could just hit the current offer on the premier for $200. You pay $49 annual fee this year bringing your total bonus down to $151. You get 2% back in Disney dollars on gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, disney and 1% everything else. Close the card before the year ends to avoid paying the fee again and you can rack up points faster than on your normal Disney card for this year.
-looking to branch out? There are cards that offer 2% cashback on everything (keeps life simple), cards that offer 5% back in rotating categories every quarter (less simple, but more lucrative). If you're interested in either of those (or anything else) ask about them in the thread, people have all those cards and could guide you on what to look at. If you want to consider this option wait on hitting the premier, you may find a different card you'd rather get instead.

The obligatory word of warning (not just for you OP, but I say this for anyone who reads what I wrote above): this is only for people who pay their credit cards in FULL, ON TIME, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Do not start down this path if you don't/can't do that.
