I am not going to MNSSHP this year but I am going to Mickey's HAloween Treat at DL CA.

My DD 10 begs me to dress up every year. I never do. I usually just wear a Haloween themed shirt and socks. Boring I know.

I would like to dress up this year with her. I want something Disney themed, but don't want to spend over $25.

I can't sow and I'm not that crafty and imaginative :( Any suggestions, besides E-BAy.

I work at a nursery school and for our annual halloween party I went to Walmart and bought a Disney themed Scrub top had really cute tinkerbelle, mickey mouse and 101 dalmations ) and will wear stretch pants, wear a stethoscope and a bandana on my head and those doctors things over my feet.. Voila Doctor all for $15... :cool1:

You could write your name on a white t-shirt, and wear mouseears and be a mouseketeer.

My son is going to be the Mad Hatter. I bought a tall green hat which I will attach a card that says 10/6 to its side, a used green sport coat, a yellow tie from a clown costume I have, and all he needs is to wear his dress pants and shoes.

Or you could go as Lilo with a hula skirt and accessories.

Be sure to check out the costumes at www.familyfun.com . There are lots of good, cheap ideas, including the magazine's current issue.

Just got DS (7) a Anakin Skywalker costume at Meijer for $20. They had plenty to choose from. I'm sure you could find something Disney related there.

just saw a bunch of costumes on disneyshopping.com for 19.99 - snow white was one i believe.

For adults? I only saw $39.99. I'll have to check again!

I'm going with the Mouseketer plan for DH and myself. I bought us both white t-shirts (2 for $5 at Michaels), got iron on letters (40% off 3.49 at Michaels with the coupon). I ironed our names on the front of the t-shirt. For the back of the shirt, I got a Mickey Mouse Club logo from the Designer's section of the DisBoards. I printed this on iron on paper ($1/sheet), and then ironed on to the back. We'll both wear blue shorts (already own). And we'll wear Mickey Mouse ears (or maybe just I will, don't know if DH is willing to go that far).

So, total is $5 plus the mouse ears (guess they cost about $15) = $20 costume.

I don't know about the weather in DL, but instead of the tshirt, you could do a mock turtleneck and jeans or blue pants.

Good luck.
