I also have a friend who was in the CP. She loved it. As soon as she gets back from FL she's going to mentor me which will be a huge help. She also happens to have the same majors I intend to have. Another plus. =D

And as for the jobs, I didn't think they would exactly be high paying ones lol. I'm trying to put aside enough money that would potentially cover the whole trip just in case. I don't want annyyy problems lol.

Yeah sorry, they used to be called AI's.

I've heard about it a little and can't find much more information about it.

Okay - I just wanted to clarify. :thumbsup2

I really know much more about the CP but I can at least direct you to where you can get more info.

The PI is more "advanced", you could say, than the CP. It is more directed to fit your major and where you would eventually like to end up. However, a majority of the career options at the PI require the CP as a pre-requisite. A majority of people who go into into the PI forsee themselves eventually working for the Disney Corp. in one way or another.

Rather than explaining it myself, I'll just give you this link that can probably explain it better than I can: http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/internships/home.html

welcome Shawn! I'm Bridget, and I'd like to do the college program too. to answer your poll I'd love to be a Princess, there so sweet and pretty, I'd love to do it!

here's a website that answers quite alot of questions on the college program (though it's for the international program, it gives about the same advice)

http://www.wdwip.com/faq.htm

might be good to explore the site as well to get an idea of what to expect if you join up :)

Thanks. :)

That would be fun lol. Maybe Belle or Pocahontas...

I can't wait to college next year and be a part of the Disney College Program. At Western Kentucky University(where I'm going) they have during the semester. I would rather do it during the summer so I don't have to take time off from college. On of my old friend's brother did the program during the semester. I don't know if you have a choice to continue classes but he didn't. My degree will already take 5 years so I really don't want to take more time. If I had to choose, I would probably want to be an imagineer or someone who works at one of the shops on main street.

Same here. I'll already be there 6 years. I also wonder if while you're there do you only study for your major, or do you have to come back and catch up...I wouldn't want to have to leave in the middle of it or something to go back. That wouldn't be so great... Maybe when I go to one of the presentations near me I'll get more info...because if they just show the video and leave It'd kinda be a waste of time lol.

And me too. Being an Imagineer would be my dream job. It's gonna take alot of work to get there...lol. Oh well. I'm u for the challenge. =P
